Description
本開示に係る排気管は、軸線を中心とする筒状をなすとともに、軸線方向に配列され、内部にエンジン本体から導かれた排気が流通する複数の管本体と、前記軸線方向に隣接する一対の前記管本体同士を接続する接続部と、前記管本体と前記接続部との間に設けられたガスケットと、を備え、前記管本体の前記軸線方向における端部には外周側に向かって張り出すフランジが設けられ、前記接続部は、前記軸線を中心とする筒状の接続部本体と、前記フランジとの間の隙間に前記ガスケットを挟み込んだ状態で前記フランジに対向する対向面が形成された押さえリングと、を有し、周方向に間隔をあけて設けられ、前記フランジと前記押さえリングとを結合する結合部材と、前記隙間の外周側の領域に設けられた変形防止部材と、をさらに備え、前記変形防止部材は、周方向に間隔をあけて複数設けられ、これら複数の変形防止部材を互いに接続するワイヤをさらに有する。
以下、本開示の第一実施形態に係るエンジン100、及び排気管90について、図1から図4を参照して説明する。
エンジン100は、例えば船舶や発電所の動力源として用いられるディーゼルエンジン、又はガスエンジンである。エンジン100は、エンジン本体1と、排気管90と、枝管2Aと、を備えている。エンジン本体1はブロック状をなし、その内部には複数(一例として12個)の燃焼室2が形成されている。本実施形態では、6個の燃焼室2が2列にわたって形成されている。これら燃焼室2内にはピストン(図示省略)が収容されている。
次に、図2から図4を参照して、排気管90の構成について説明する。図2又は図4に示すように、排気管90は、複数の管本体10と、フランジ11と、接続部20と、ガスケットG(図4参照)と、結合部材30と、変形防止部材40と、を備えている。
続いて、本実施形態に係る排気管90の組立方法、及びエンジン100を運転している際の排気管90の挙動について説明する。
次に、本開示の第二実施形態について、図7を参照して説明する。なお、上記第一実施形態及びその変形例と同様の構成については同一の符号を付し、詳細な説明を省略する。

Claims (8)
- 軸線を中心とする筒状をなすとともに、軸線方向に配列され、内部にエンジン本体から導かれた排気が流通する複数の管本体と、
前記軸線方向に隣接する一対の前記管本体同士を接続する接続部と、
前記管本体と前記接続部との間に設けられたガスケットと、を備え、
前記管本体の前記軸線方向における端部には外周側に向かって張り出すフランジが設けられ、
前記接続部は、前記軸線を中心とする筒状の接続部本体と、
前記フランジとの間の隙間に前記ガスケットを挟み込んだ状態で前記フランジに対向する対向面が形成された押さえリングと、
を有し、
周方向に間隔をあけて設けられ、前記フランジと前記押さえリングとを結合する結合部材と、
前記隙間の外周側の領域に設けられた変形防止部材と、をさらに備え、
前記変形防止部材は、
径方向外側から内側に向かうに従って前記軸線方向の寸法が次第に縮小するテーパ部を有する排気管。 - 3
前記対向面の径方向外側の領域には、前記軸線方向に凹むとともに周方向に延びる切り欠きが形成されている請求項1に記載の排気管。 - 軸線を中心とする筒状をなすとともに、軸線方向に配列され、内部にエンジン本体から導かれた排気が流通する複数の管本体と、
前記軸線方向に隣接する一対の前記管本体同士を接続する接続部と、
前記管本体と前記接続部との間に設けられたガスケットと、を備え、
前記管本体の前記軸線方向における端部には外周側に向かって張り出すフランジが設けられ、
前記接続部は、前記軸線を中心とする筒状の接続部本体と、
前記フランジとの間の隙間に前記ガスケットを挟み込んだ状態で前記フランジに対向する対向面が形成された押さえリングと、
を有し、
周方向に間隔をあけて設けられ、前記フランジと前記押さえリングとを結合する結合部材と、
前記隙間の外周側の領域に設けられた変形防止部材と、をさらに備え、
前記変形防止部材は、周方向に間隔をあけて複数設けられ、
これら複数の変形防止部材を互いに接続するワイヤをさらに有する排気管。 - 前記変形防止部材は、周方向にて前記結合部材と一致する位置にそれぞれ設けられている請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の排気管。
- 前記ガスケットは、前記フランジの全面を覆う環状をなし、該ガスケットの径方向外側における環状の部分が前記変形防止部材をなしている請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の排気管。
- 前記接続部は、
前記軸線方向に伸縮可能な伸縮部と、
該伸縮部の端部に設けられ、外周側に張り出すつば部と、を有し、
前記つば部の径方向外側における環状の部分が前記変形防止部材をなしている請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の排気管。 - 前記フランジ、及び前記押さえリングには、前記軸線方向に延びる貫通孔がそれぞれ形成され、
前記結合部材は、
前記貫通孔に挿通されるボルト、及び該ボルトに締結されるナットと、を有し、
前記変形防止部材は、前記貫通孔に挿通され、前記ボルトを外周側から覆うとともに、予め定められた分だけ前記軸線方向に延びるパイプである請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の排気管。 - 請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の排気管と、
前記排気を前記排気管に送り込む燃焼室が形成されたエンジン本体と、を備えるエンジン。
