- 水素化芳香族類の脱水素反応に用いられる白金担持アルミナ触媒であって、
アルミナ担体と、
前記アルミナ担体に担持された白金と、を有し、
前記アルミナ担体は、表面積が200m2/g以上、細孔容積が0.50m 3 /g以上、平均細孔径が60Å~150Åの範囲、かつ全細孔容積に対して平均細孔径±30Åの細孔が占める割合が60%以上のγ―アルミナ担体を含み、
前記γ―アルミナ担体には、前記白金の粒子が白金元素(Pt)として0.1重量%~1.5重量%の範囲で担持されており、
透過型電子顕微鏡を用いた直接観察により、前記白金の粒子の70%以上が8~15Åの大きさを有する、白金担持アルミナ触媒。 - 前記γーアルミナ担体には、硫黄または硫黄化合物が硫黄元素(S)として0.5重量%~1.2重量%の範囲で含まれる、請求項1に記載の白金担持アルミナ触媒。

アルミニウムを含む酸性水溶液にアルカリ性水溶液を加えて、水酸化アルミニウムとして得られるベーマイトを乾燥した後に、250℃~400℃の範囲の温度かつ1~12時間の範囲の時間で焼成する、白金担持アルミナ触媒の製造方法。 - 前記焼成後の前記γ―アルミナ担体に対し、白金試薬水溶液として塩化白金酸水溶液を使用して、白金元素としての含有量が0.5重量%~1.5重量%の範囲となるように前記白金を含侵させ、乾燥し、その後に250℃~400℃の範囲の温度で焼成する、請求項4に記載の白金担持アルミナ触媒の製造方法。
- 前記白金を含浸させ、乾燥し、その後に焼成した前記γーアルミナ担体を水素還元し、
前記水素還元の温度が、前記ベーマイトを乾燥した後に焼成する前記温度よりも高く、前記白金を含侵させた前記γ―アルミナ担体を乾燥後に焼成する前記温度よりも高く、かつ300℃~450℃の範囲である、請求項5に記載の白金担持アルミナ触媒の製造方法。 - 前記水素還元の時間が、1~15時間の範囲である、請求項6に記載の白金担持アルミナ触媒の製造方法。
- 前記γーアルミナ担体には、硫黄または硫黄化合物が硫黄元素(S)として0.5重量%~1.2重量%の範囲で含まれる、請求項4から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の白金担持アルミナ触媒の製造方法。
- 前記焼成後の前記γ―アルミナ担体に対し、硫酸アンモニウム水溶液を含侵させ、その後に、250℃~400℃の範囲の温度かつ1~12時間の範囲の時間で焼成する、請求項4から請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の白金担持アルミナ触媒の製造方法。
- 硫黄を含まない前記γーアルミナ担体または硫黄を含む前記γーアルミナ担体に白金を含侵させ、乾燥し、その後に焼成して白金担持γーアルミナ担体を生成し、
前記白金担持γーアルミナ担体に対し、アルカリ金属が0.5重量%~1.5重量%の範囲で含まれるように含侵させ、乾燥した後に焼成を行わずに水素還元し、
前記水素還元の温度が、前記ベーマイトを乾燥した後に焼成する前記温度よりも高く、前記白金を含侵させた前記γ―アルミナ担体を乾燥後に焼成する前記温度よりも高く、かつ300℃~450℃の範囲である、請求項5に記載の白金担持アルミナ触媒の製造方法。 - 前記アルカリ金属が、ナトリウムおよびカリウムである請求項10に記載の白金担持アルミナ触媒の製造方法。
- 前記水素還元の時間が1~15時間の範囲である、請求項10または請求項11に記載の白金担持アルミナ触媒の製造方法。
- 請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の白金担持アルミナ触媒を用いて水素化芳香族類を脱水素する、水素化芳香族類の脱水素方法。
- 前記水素化芳香族類が、単環芳香族類の水素化物、2環芳香族類の水素化物、及び3環以上の芳香環を有する化合物の水素化物からなる群から選ばれた1種又は2種以上の混合物である、請求項13に記載の水素化芳香族類の脱水素方法。
- 前記水素化芳香族類が、メチルシクロヘキサン、シクロヘキサン、トリメチルシクロヘキサン、デカリン、及びジベンゾトリオールからなる群から選ばれた1種又は2種以上の混合物である、請求項13に記載の水素化芳香族類の脱水素方法。
