(産業上の利用可能性)
金属Al粉末(-75μm)、金属Si粉末(-45μm)、事前加熱処理されたカーボンブラック(60~280nm)をAl:Si:C=4:1:4のモル理論比で配合し、乾式ヘンシェルミキサーで10分間混合した。混合原料を坩堝に装填し、混合原料をアルゴンガスの気流中で1800℃に加熱し、1800℃を10時間保持した。

Claims (5)
- アルミニウム源、ケイ素源、炭素源を含む混合物を焼成してAl4SiC4を合成するAl4SiC4組成物又はAl4SiC4粉末の製造方法において、
前記炭素源がコークス粒体中で事前加熱処理された加熱処理炭素源を含み、
Al4SiC4組成物又はAl4SiC4粉末の硫黄含有量が150mass ppm以下であるAl4SiC4組成物又はAl4SiC4粉末の製造方法。 - 前記加熱処理炭素源がカーボンブラックを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のAl4SiC4組成物又はAl4SiC4粉末の製造方法。
- 前記炭素源が前記カーボンブラックを80mass%~100mass%含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のAl4SiC4組成物又はAl4SiC4粉末の製造方法。
- 前記炭素源がコークス、膨張黒鉛、又は活性炭の少なくとも一つを20mass%以下含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のAl4SiC4組成物又はAl4SiC4粉末の製造方法。
- 前記焼成は、1650~1900℃の温度で1~10時間、不活性ガス雰囲気下で実施することを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか一項に記載のAl4SiC4組成物又はAl4SiC4粉末の製造方法。
