Description
(A)ポリウレタンまたはポリウレア
(B)スチレン系樹脂材料
を含有し、(A)成分を主成分とし、(B)成分の配合量を(A)100質量部に対して0.5~50質量部とすることにより、特にプロや上級者のゴルファーにとってアプローチ時が更にコントロールし易いものとなり、ドライバーショット時の飛距離を犠牲することもない優位なゴルフボールを提供できることを見出し、本発明をなすに至った。
1.下記(A)及び(B)成分
(A)ポリウレタン、
(B)耐衝撃性ポリスチレン(HIPS)またはGPPS(汎用ポリスチレン樹脂)、及び
(C)イソシアネート化合物
を含有し、(A)成分が主成分であり、(B)成分の配合量が(A)成分100質量部に対して1~50質量部であることを特徴とするゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
2.(A)成分が熱可塑性ポリウレタンである1記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
3.(A)成分の材料硬度がショアD硬度で55以下である1又は2記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
4.(B)成分が、耐衝撃性ポリスチレン(HIPS)である1記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
5.(B)成分の反発弾性率が、JIS-K 6255規格の測定で31~37%である1~4のいずれか1項記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
6.(B)成分の曲げ弾性が、JIS-K 7171規格の測定で2200~3300MPaである1~5のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
7.(B)成分の配合量は、(A)成分100質量部に対して1~25質量部である1~6のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
8.(C)成分の配合量は、(A)成分100質量部に対して0.1~20質量部である1記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
9.コアに単層又は複数層のカバーが被覆されるゴルフボールであって、該カバーのうち最外層が、上記1~8のいずれかに記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物により形成されることを特徴とするゴルフボール。
本発明のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物は、下記(A),(B)成分
(A)ポリウレタンまたはポリウレア
(B)スチレン系樹脂材料
を含有するものである。
ポリウレタンの構造は、長鎖ポリオールである高分子ポリオール(ポリメリックグリコール)からなるソフトセグメントと、ハードセグメントを構成する鎖延長剤及びポリイソシアネートからなる。ここで、原料となる高分子ポリオールとしては、従来からポリウレタン材料に関する技術において使用されるものはいずれも使用でき、特に制限されるものではない。例えば、ポリエステル系ポリオール、ポリエーテル系ポリオール、ポリカーボネートポリオール、ポリエステルポリカーボネートポリオール、ポリオレフィン系ポリオール、共役ジエン重合体系ポリオール、ひまし油系ポリオール、シリコーン系ポリオール、ビニル重合体系ポリオールなどを挙げることができる。ポリエステル系ポリオールとしては、具体的には、ポリエチレンアジペートグリコール、ポリプロピレンアジペートグリコール、ポリブタジエンアジペートグリコール、ポリヘキサメチレンアジペートグリコール等のアジペート系ポリオールやポリカプロラクトンポリオール等のラクトン系ポリオールを採用することができる。ポリエーテルポリオールとしては、ポリ(エチレングリコール)、ポリ(プロピレングリコール)及びポリ(テトラメチレングリコール)、ポリ(メチルテトラメチレングリコール)等が挙げられる。これらは1種単独で使用してもよいし、2種以上を併用してもよい。
ポリウレアは、(i)イソシアネートと(ii)アミン末端化合物との反応により生成するウレア結合を主体にした樹脂組成物である。この樹脂組成物について以下に詳述する。
イソシアネートは、従来のポリウレタンに関する技術において使用されるものを好適に用いることができ、特に制限はなく、上記ポリウレタン材料で説明したものと同様のものを用いることができる。
アミン末端化合物は、分子鎖の末端にアミノ基を有する化合物であり、本発明では、以下に示す長鎖ポリアミン及び/又はアミン系硬化剤を用いることができる。
ポリウレアには、必須成分ではないが、上述した(i)成分及び(ii)成分に加えて更にポリオールを配合することができる。このポリオールとして、従来のポリウレタンに関する技術において使用されるものを好適に用いることができ、特に制限はないが、具体例として、以下に示す長鎖ポリオール及び/又はポリオール系硬化剤を例示することができる。
表1に示す配合により、全ての例に共通するコア用のゴム組成物を調製・加硫成形することにより直径38.6mmのコアを作製した。
・「cis-1,4-ポリブタジエン」JSR社製、商品名「BR01」
・「アクリル酸亜鉛」日本触媒社製
・「酸化亜鉛」堺化学工業社製
・「硫酸バリウム」堺化学工業社製
・「老化防止剤」商品名「ノクラックNS6」(大内新興化学工業社製)
・「有機過酸化物(1)」ジクミルパーオキサイド、商品名「パークミルD」(日油社製)
・「有機過酸化物(2)」1,1-ジ(tert-ブチルパーオキシ)シクロヘキサンとシリカの混合物、商品名「パーヘキサC-40」(日油社製)
・「ステアリン酸亜鉛」日油社製
樹脂組成物については、(A)成分及び(B)成分の両成分を表2に示す成分及び配合量でドライブレンドにより混合し、射出成型した。
23.9±1℃の温度で、任意のディンプルのない部分を15箇所測定し、その平均値を1個のボールの測定値とし、測定個数5個のボールの平均値を求めた。
ボールを硬板の上に置き、初期荷重98N(10kgf)を負荷した状態から終荷重1275N(130kgf)に負荷したときまでのたわみ量(mm)を計測した。なお、上記のたわみ量はいずれも23.9℃に温度調整した後の測定値である。
クラブを打撃ロボットに装着し、ヘッドスピード(HS)45m/sで打撃した直後の、ボールの初速を初期条件計測装置により測定した。また、その飛距離を測定した。
ゴルフ打撃ロボットにサンドウェッジ(SW)を装着し、ヘッドスピード(HS)20m/sで打撃した直後のボールの初速を初期条件計測装置により測定した。また、下記のようにアプローチ官能評価を行った。
○ ・・・ 操作性に非常に優れる。
△ ・・・ 操作性に優れる。
× ・・・ 操作性がやや劣る。
カバー射出成形後の金型からの脱型性を以下の基準で評価した。
○ ・・・ 脱型時ランナー切れやピン付き等の外傷が生じない。
△ ・・・ 脱型時ランナー切れやピン付き等の外傷が生じるが、成型には問題ない。
× ・・・ 脱型時ランナー切れやピン付き等の外傷が生じ、成型できない。
ボールを23℃に保温するとともに、スウィングロボットマシンを用い、クラブはピンチングウェッジを使用して、ヘッドスピード33m/sで各ボールを各5球ずつ打撃し、打撃傷を以下の基準で目視にて評価し、その平均値を算出した。
○ ・・・ やや傷がついているか、ほとんど傷が目立たない。
△ ・・・ 表面がやや毛羽立っているか、ディンプルがやや欠けている。
× ・・・ ディンプルが完全に削り取られている。
・「TPU1」:ディーアイシーコベストロポリマー社製の商品名「パンデックス」、エーテルタイプの熱可塑性ポリウレタン「ショアD硬度40」
・「TPU2」:ディーアイシーコベストロポリマー社製の商品名「パンデックス」、エーテルタイプの熱可塑性ポリウレタン「ショアD硬度55」
・「MDI」:4,4’-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(イソシアネート化合物)
・「HIPS」:耐衝撃性ポリスチレン樹脂、DIC社製のHIPS、商品名「ディックスチレン」MH-6800-1「ショアD硬度74」
・「GPPS」:汎用ポリスチレン樹脂、DIC社製のGPPS、商品名「ディックスチレン」CR-2500「ショアD硬度78」
・「PEs」:ポリエステルエラストマー、東レデュポン社製の商品名「ハイトレル4001」「ショアD硬度37」
なお、表2中の(B)成分の樹脂材料のMFRは、JIS-K7210-1:2014で200℃/5.00kgの測定によるものである。
Claims (9)
- 下記(A)及び(B)成分
(A)ポリウレタン、
(B)耐衝撃性ポリスチレン(HIPS)またはGPPS(汎用ポリスチレン樹脂)、及び
(C)イソシアネート化合物
を含有し、(A)成分が主成分であり、(B)成分の配合量が(A)成分100質量部に対して1~50質量部であることを特徴とするゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。 - (A)成分が熱可塑性ポリウレタンである請求項1記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
- (A)成分の材料硬度がショアD硬度で55以下である請求項1又は2記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
- (B)成分が、耐衝撃性ポリスチレン(HIPS)である請求項1記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
- (B)成分の反発弾性率が、JIS-K 6255規格の測定で31~37%である請求項1~4のいずれか1項記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
- (B)成分の曲げ弾性が、JIS-K 7171規格の測定で2200~3300MPaである請求項1~5のいずれか1項記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
- (B)成分の配合量は、(A)成分100質量部に対して1~25質量部である請求項1~6のいずれか1項記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
- (C)成分の配合量は、(A)成分100質量部に対して0.1~20質量部である請求項1記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
- コアに単層又は複数層のカバーが被覆されるゴルフボールであって、該カバーのうち最外層が、請求項1~8のいずれか1項記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物により形成されることを特徴とするゴルフボール。
