- ウィッキング要素を介して液体を拡散させるように構成されマイクロチャネルを備えたウィッキング要素を備える表面でオーバモールドされたプリント回路基板(PCB)またはエッチング箔を備え、呼吸加湿システム内で、患者に送達されるガスを加湿するために前記液体を気化させるヒータ素子であって、前記マイクロチャネルはガス通路に通じる開放面を備え、前記ヒータ素子は、使用時に、加湿されるガスが前記表面に実質的に平行に流れ、かつ、前記ウィッキング要素に接触して、前記マイクロチャネルから蒸発した液体を拾い上げて加湿される、ヒータ素子。
- 前記マイクロチャネルは親水性コーティングされた表面を備える、請求項1に記載のヒータ素子。
- 前記マイクロチャネルは、オーバモールドの前記表面に設けられ、或るパターンで配置されたマイクロスケールの溝を備え、あるいは、前記表面が、単一方向にのみ延在するマイクロチャネルを有し、あるいは、前記マイクロチャネルが単一点から放射状に分散されている、請求項1または2に記載のヒータ素子。
- 前記マイクロチャネルが、主チャネルの第2組に接続された分散チャネルの第1組を含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ素子。
- 前記分散チャネルの数が前記主チャネルの数未満である、請求項4に記載のヒータ素子。
- 前記マイクロチャネルは、1~1000μmの深さを備え、あるいは、前記マイクロチャネルは、1~1000μmの幅を備える、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ素子。
- 前記オーバモールドは、熱可塑性材料を備え、あるいは、当該ヒータ素子は、モジュールゾーンを備え、あるいは、当該ヒータ素子は、液体を予熱するように構成された第1ゾーンと前記液体を気化させるように構成された第2ゾーンとを備える、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ素子。
- 当該ヒータ素子は、抵抗配線を備える、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ素子。
- 当該ヒータ素子は、液体が導入される位置の近くにおいて大きな密度の抵抗配線を備え、前記液体が気化される領域の周りにおいて小さな密度の抵抗配線を備える、請求項8に記載のヒータ素子。
- 前記PCBは、前記抵抗配線を備える、請求項8に記載のヒータ素子。
- 前記ヒータ素子は、前記ヒータ素子の前記表面の温度を測定する1または複数のセンサを含む、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ素子。
- 前記1または複数のセンサはサーミスタである、請求項11に記載のヒータ素子。
- 呼吸加湿システムであって、ハウジングと、
前記呼吸加湿システム内にガスを受け入れるように構成されたガス入口と、
前記呼吸加湿システムから出て患者に加湿ガスを送達するように構成されたガス出口と、
前記呼吸加湿システム内に液体を受け入れられることを可能にするように構成された1つまたは複数の液体入口と、
前記呼吸加湿システムに電力を供給しかつ前記呼吸加湿システムのさまざまな構成要素と通信するように構成された電気コネクタと、
ウィッキング要素を介して液体を拡散させるように構成されマイクロチャネルを備えたウィッキング要素を備える表面でオーバモールドされたプリント回路基板(PCB)またはエッチング箔を備え、前記ガスを加湿するために前記液体を気化させるように構成されたヒータ素子であって、前記マイクロチャネルは、ガス通路に通じる開放面を備え、前記ヒータ素子は、使用時に、加湿されるガスが前記表面に実質的に平行に流れ、かつ、前記ウィッキング要素に接触して、前記マイクロチャネルから蒸発した液体を拾い上げて加湿される、ヒータ素子と、を備える、呼吸加湿システム。 - 前記ハウジングは、ガス流路を画定し、前記ガスは、前記ガス入口において当該呼吸加湿システムに入り、内壁によって下流に向けられ、該内壁の底部の開口部により前記ガスは前記内壁の他方の側に進むことができ、そこで、前記ガスは、前記ガス出口において上方にかつ当該呼吸加湿システムから出るように向けられる、請求項13に記載の呼吸加湿システム。
- 前記ヒータ素子は、当該呼吸加湿システムの接点領域と嵌合するように配置された接点領域を備え、
前記ハウジングは、前記ガス流路内に内部バッフルを含む、請求項14に記載の呼吸加湿システム。 - 当該呼吸加湿システムは、前記ガス入口と接続するように適合されたガス流れ発生器をさらに備える、請求項13から15のいずれか一項に記載の呼吸加湿システム。
- 前記ガス流れ発生器は、ブロワを備える、請求項16に記載の呼吸加湿システム。
- 前記ガス入口の位置と前記ガス出口の位置との間に延在している前記ガス通路であって、前記ガス入口の位置と前記ガス出口の位置との間に加湿位置を含む前記ガス通路と、
前記液体を保持するように構成された液体リザーバとをさらに備える、請求項13から17のいずれか一項に記載の呼吸加湿システム。 - 前記液体リザーバおよび前記ウィッキング要素と液体連通する計量機構であって、前記液体リザーバから前記ウィッキング要素への前記液体を計量するように構成された計量機構、をさらに備え、
前記ウィッキング要素が、前記計量される液体を前記表面の少なくとも一部に分散させるように構成されている、請求項18に記載の呼吸加湿システム。 - 供給ガスを計測する入口露点温度センサをさらに備え、前記供給ガスは、前記呼吸加湿システムの前記ガス入口に提供され、前記計量機構は、前記供給ガスの前記受け取られた入口露点温度測定値に基づいて前記液体リザーバから前記ウィッキング要素への前記液体を計量するように構成されている、請求項19に記載の呼吸加湿システム。
- 前記供給ガスを計測する入口ガス流センサをさらに備え、前記計量機構は、前記供給ガスの前記受け取られたガス流量測定値に基づいて前記液体リザーバから前記ウィッキング要素への前記液体を計量するように構成されている、請求項20に記載の呼吸加湿システム。
- 前記ガス通路内の前記ガス入口の位置と前記加湿位置との間に配置され、ガス通路圧力レベルを計測する圧力センサをさらに備え、前記計量機構は、前記受け取られたガス通路圧力レベル測定値に基づいて前記液体リザーバから前記ウィッキング要素への前記液体を計量するように構成されている、請求項19から21のいずれか一項に記載の呼吸加湿システム。
