Description
ガス燃料供給弁40の構成の一例を図2、図3に示す。ガス燃料供給弁40は電磁弁であり,ステータ42の内部に電磁コイル44を内蔵している。ガス燃料供給弁40内には可動プレート46が上下方向に移動可能に配置されており、可動プレート46の下側には複数のガス供給孔54が設けられた固定プレート50が配置されている。可動プレート46と固定プレート50とはそれぞれ弁と弁座を構成する。
開口調節弁60は、ガス燃料供給弁40の出口側から吸気供給管20の開口部24に至る通路に設けられている。開口調節弁60は開口面積を調整可能な開口孔61を有し、当該開口孔61の開口面積は電子制御装置80によって調節される。開口孔61の開口面積は、全閉と全開とその間の位置の少なくとも3段階に、または0%(全閉)から100%(全開)まで連続的に変更できる。開口孔はガス燃料供給弁40の出口側から吸気供給管20の開口部24に至る通路の一部を構成する
このように、ガス燃料燃焼モードから油燃料燃焼モードに切り替える際に、ガス燃料供給弁40中の圧力が下がる前に、まずガス燃料供給弁40を閉弁し、次に、開口調節弁60の開口孔を全閉するので、吸気がガス燃料供給弁40や、ガス燃料供給管38に侵入するおそれが無く、吸気中の水分やコンタミによりガス燃料供給弁40や、ガス燃料供給管38を腐食するおそれがない。
ガス燃料供給弁40に通電がなされると、可動プレート46はステータ42方向に吸引されストッパ56に衝突する。作動回数が多くなると衝突部分が摩耗する場合がある。摩耗が進むと次第に可動プレート46のストロークが大きくなる(図2のS1の部分)。この場合ガス燃料の通路(図3の隙間52)が大きくなり絞り効果が小さくなるので、ガス燃料の供給量は大きくなる。そこで、開口調節弁60の開口孔の開口面積を小さくし、ガス燃料が開口孔を通過する際の絞り効果を大きくすることによりガス燃料の供給量を補正することができる。開口調節弁60は少なくとも3段階に、または連続的に開口孔の開口面積を変更できるので、ガス燃料が開口孔を通過する際の絞り効果を適切に調整することができる。
Claims (5)
- ガス燃焼モードと油燃料燃焼モードとの両方で運転可能なエンジン(10)の燃焼室に通じる吸気供給管(20)の開口部(24)を介してガス燃料を供給するガス燃料供給装置(30)において、
前記ガス燃料を調節するためのガス燃料供給弁(40)であって、開弁時に前記ガス燃料を前記開口部(24)方向に送り出す複数のガス供給孔(54)を有するガス燃料供給弁(40)と、
前記ガス燃料供給弁(40)と前記開口部(24)の間に設けられ、開口面積を調整可能な開口孔を有する開口調節弁(60)と
を備え、
前記ガス燃料供給弁(40)は、前記複数のガス供給孔(54)が設けられた固定プレート(50)と、スプリング(58)と、前記スプリング(58)により押され前記固定プレート(50)上に着座する可動プレート(46)を含み、
全ての前記ガス供給孔(54)の延長軸線(54C)が、全開とした場合の前記開口孔内を通過するように構成されている

請求項1に記載のガス燃料供給装置(30)。 - 前記開口調節弁(60)は、アイリス弁(64)、スライド弁(68)、バタフライ弁(72)のいずれかである、
請求項1または2に記載のガス燃料供給装置(30)。 - 前記開口調節弁(60)は前記ガス燃料供給弁(40)と協働して前記開口部(24)に供給される前記ガス燃料を調節する、
請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のガス燃料供給装置(30)。 - 前記エンジン(10)をガス燃焼モードから油燃料燃焼モードに切り替える際に、まず前記ガス燃料供給弁(40)を閉弁し、次に前記開口調節弁(60)の開口孔を全閉にする、
請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のガス燃料供給装置(30)。
