Description
Claims (22)
- バイオポリマー材料を成長させる方法であって、
複数の容器を準備するステップを含み、前記複数の容器の各々は、栄養基材及び真菌を含む成長用培地を収容するキャビティを有し、
更に、前記複数の容器を、閉鎖された培養室内に配置するステップと、
前記閉鎖された培養室を、湿度、温度、二酸化炭素含有量、及び酸素含有量の所定の環境を有するように維持するステップと、を含み、前記所定の環境は、全体的に真菌の菌糸体で構成される菌糸体バイオポリマーを生成するのに十分な環境であり、
更に、前記二酸化炭素含有量を含む空気流を、前記培養室を通るように差し向けるステップと、
真菌が栄養基材を消化して、全体的に真菌の菌糸体で構成される菌糸体バイオポリマーを前記容器の各々の中で生成するのに十分な期間、成長用培地を前記容器の各々の中で培養するステップと、
前記空気流を前記容器の各々の中の成長用培地の上で移動させるステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記空気流は、前記閉鎖された培養室の中に且つ前記容器の横方向に差し向けられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記空気流は、前記容器の水平方向に差し向けられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の容器は、上下方向に離間した複数の列で前記培養室の中に上下方向に配置される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記培養するステップの間、前記所定の環境は、99%の相対湿度、5%の二酸化炭素含有量、及び29.4~35℃(85~95°F)の変動温度に維持される、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記空気流は、前記閉鎖された培養室の中に且つ前記容器の横方向に差し向けられる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記空気流は、前記容器の水平方向に差し向けられる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記培養するステップの間、前記空気流は、脈動流である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記空気流は、5~7容量%の二酸化炭素を含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 真菌の菌糸体は、気中菌糸体を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記空気流は、気中菌糸体の構造を調整する力を差し向ける、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記空気流を前記容器の各々の中の成長用培地の上で移動させるステップは、前記空気流を前記容器の各々の中の成長用培地の表面を横切るように移動させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 全体的に真菌の菌糸体で構成される前記菌糸体バイオポリマーは、全体的に真菌の菌糸体で構成される菌糸体バイオポリマーのパネルである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 更に、前記空気流を前記容器の各々の成長している菌糸体の上で移動させるステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記容器は、蓋を備えていない、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 更に、前記容器の各々の中の成長用培地の上を移動させるように、ミストを前記培養室の中に分散させるステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ミストは、水分と溶質を含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 気中菌糸は、前記培養期間中、前記容器の各々から外方に成長し、前記ミストは、調整された量で、気中菌糸の上面に分散される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- バイオポリマー材料を成長させる方法であって、
複数の容器を準備するステップを含み、前記複数の容器の各々は、栄養基材及び真菌を含む成長用培地を収容するキャビティを有し、
更に、前記複数の容器を、閉鎖された培養室内に配置するステップと、
前記閉鎖された培養室を、湿度、温度、二酸化炭素含有量、及び酸素含有量の所定の環境を有するように維持するステップと、を含み、前記所定の環境は、全体的に真菌の菌糸体で構成される菌糸体バイオポリマーを生成するのに十分な環境であり、
更に、ミストを、前記閉鎖された培養室の中に且つ前記複数の容器の各々の中の成長用培地の上を移動させるように分散させるステップと、
真菌が栄養基材を消化して、実質的な形態学的変化なしに、全体的に真菌の菌糸体で構成される菌糸体バイオポリマーを前記容器の各々の中で生成するのに十分な期間、前記容器の各々の中で成長用培地を培養するステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記ミストは、水分及び溶質を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記溶質はミネラルである、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記培養する前記期間の間、気中菌糸を前記容器の各々から外方に成長させ、調整された量のミストを、気中菌糸の上面に分散させる、請求項19に記載の方法。
