Description
本発明は、オゾンで体液を処理するための方法及び装置に関する。より詳細には、本発明は、オゾンで血液を処理するための方法及び装置に関する。
オゾンは強力な酸化剤で、殺菌剤として使用されている。腐食性で反応性の高いオゾンの性質にもかかわらず、血液中の特定の感染性因子を殺菌又は不活性化するためのオゾンの使用が検討されている。例えば、米国特許出願公開第2005/0189302A1号は、気液の物質移動を最大にする気液接触装置において、血液をオゾンに曝露することによって血液中のウイルスを不活性化する方法を開示している。接触装置は、血液の薄膜を形成するための球体又はロッドを含み、処理は好ましくは周囲温度で行われる。国際公開第2011/162805号は、米国特許出願公開第2005/0189302 A1号に開示されているものと同様の気液接触装置を用いて血液をオゾン・酸素混合物に晒すことによって、血液中の感染性プリオンタンパク質を不活性化する方法を開示する。

Claims (10)
- 微生物を殺菌するために血液をオゾンと接触させるように構成されたオゾン処理装置であって、
前記装置は、内壁を備える血液オゾン処理チャンバを備え、
前記血液オゾン処理チャンバは、多孔質マイクロバブル放出面を備えたオゾン注入器を備え、
前記オゾン注入器は、前記多孔質マイクロバブル放出面と前記内壁との間に形成された隙間を通じて垂直上方の血流にオゾン含有ガスのマイクロバブルを注入するように構成され、
オゾン処理領域は、前記オゾン注入器の真上且つ前記隙間に設けられ、
前記オゾン処理領域において、前記マイクロバブルが血液中に溶解され、
前記装置と前記オゾン注入器は、前記血液オゾン処理チャンバを通る前記血流が、前記オゾン含有ガスのマイクロバブルを前記血流に同伴させるように構成されている、
オゾン処理装置。 - 前記血流の全ては、前記オゾン処理領域を2mm未満の最大距離で通過する、請求項1に記載のオゾン処理装置。
- 前記オゾン処理領域における流れの直径が2mm未満である、請求項1に記載のオゾン処理装置。
- 前記オゾン処理領域は、前記オゾン注入器の上方で狭くなる、請求項1に記載のオゾン処理装置。
- オゾン発生器を更に備え、
前記オゾン発生器は、5%から20%のオゾンを含むオゾンと酸素との混合物を生成するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のオゾン処理装置。 - 前記オゾン注入器は、オゾン濃度が10グラム/m3未満であるオゾン含有ガスを注入するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のオゾン処理装置。
- 前記オゾン注入器は、0.1バールから1.0バールの間の圧力でオゾン含有ガスを注入するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のオゾン処理装置。
- 血液の体積流量とオゾン含有ガスの体積流量との比率は、10:1から50:1に調整される、

血液の体積流量は、0.1リットル/時間から12リットル/時間の範囲である、
