Claims (20)
- 縦軸の周りに延在する細長い管状のステントであって、前記ステントは、
複数の軸方向に間隔を置いた正弦波リング状セグメントであって、前記正弦波リング状セグメントそれぞれは、軸の周りに円周方向に延在し、
一連の左対向頂点、
一連の右対向頂点、及び、
一連の連結セクションであって、各左対向頂点は、前記連結セクションを介して右対向頂点に接続され、各連結セクションは、少なくとも2つの狭い部分及び少なくとも1つの広い部分を含む、一連の連結セクション、
を備え、
2つの円周方向に隣接する連結セクションの2つの左端の狭い部分は、左対向頂点で合流して左手の細長い開口部を画定し、2つの円周方向に隣接する連結セクションの2つの右端の狭い部分は、右対向頂点で合流して右手の細長い開口部を画定する、正弦波リング状セグメントと、
軸方向に間隔を置いた複数の支柱であって、前記支柱それぞれは、2つの隣接する正弦波リング状セグメントの間に配置され、軸方向と円周方向の両方に延在しており、前記支柱それぞれは、
第1の正弦波リング状セグメントに延在する左軸方向に延在するセクションであって、前記第1の正弦波リング状セグメントの右対向頂点を軸方向に通り過ぎて、前記第1の正弦波リング状セグメントの連結セクションの中央に配置された広い部分に接続する、左軸方向に延在するセクション、

- 選択された一連の左対向頂点の各頂点は、前記円周方向に延在するセクションを横切って、軸方向に隣接する正弦波リング状セグメントの左対向頂点を指すことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記円周方向に延在するセクションは、中央部分に屈曲部を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントは生体吸収性材料を含むことを特徴する請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントは放射線不透過性材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントは、形状記憶材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントは自己拡張することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントは、S字型、Z字型、或いは、S字型またはZ字型の鏡像である形状をしていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントそれぞれは、同一の方向に配向されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントの配向は、前記ステントに沿って軸方向移動しながら変化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントの直径は、長軸方向に沿って変化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントは配備されたときに砂時計形状を有することを特徴とする請求項14に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントは、第1の端部、第2の端部、及び、中間部分を有し、前記ステントの直径は、前記ステントの前記中間部分から前記ステントの各端部まで、長手方向軸に沿って増加することを特徴とする請求項14に記載のステント。
- 直径の変化は放物線状であることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のステント。
- 前記第1の端部及び前記第2の端部は広がっていることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントの前記第1の端部での前記ステントの直径は、前記ステントの前記第2の端部での前記ステントの直径とは異なることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のステント。
- 前記中央部分の前記ステントの直径は、前記第1の端部、前記第2の端部、または、両方の端部の直径の半分であることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のステント。
