Claims (10)
- 軸受組立体のための外輪において、
半径方向内表面と半径方向外表面を画定している第1部、及び前記第1部から離れるように角度をなして延びていて、軸方向を向いた基底表面と半径方向を向いた端表面を画定している第2部、を有する本体を有している環状バッキング部材と、
半径方向外面、半径方向内面、第1の軸方向端面、及び第2の軸方向端面を有していて、各軸方向端面が前記半径方向外面と前記半径方向内面の間を延びている環状レース部材と、を備え、
前記環状レース部材の前記半径方向外面が前記環状バッキング部材の前記半径方向内表面に係合し、前記環状レース部材の前記第2の軸方向端面が前記環状バッキング部材の前記軸方向を向いた基底表面に係合して、前記環状バッキング部材と前記環状レース部材がユニット化されるように、前記環状バッキング部材が前記環状レース部材と圧入係合されており、
前記環状レース部材の前記第2の軸方向端面は、前記環状バッキング部材の前記半径方向を向いた端表面に係合する段部を含んでおり、
前記環状バッキング部材の前記半径方向外表面は、前記軸受組立体の予荷重を調節するためにハウジングに対して軸方向に可動であるように前記ハウジングに係合するよう構成されている、外輪。 - 前記環状レース部材の前記半径方向内表面は転動要素が転動するレースウェイを画定するように勾配が付けられている、請求項1に記載の外輪。
- 前記環状バッキング部材と前記環状レース部材がユニット化され軸受組立体内に設置されたときに、前記環状バッキング部材と前記環状レース部材のうちの、前記環状レース部材のみが前記転動要素と接触するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の外輪。
- 前記第2の軸方向端面の、前記段部の第1の側の部分は前記軸方向を向いた基底表面に係合し、前記第2の軸方向端面の、前記段部の反対側の隣接部分は前記軸方向を向いた基底表面に係合しない、請求項1に記載の外輪。
- 前記第2の軸方向端面の、前記軸方向を向いた基底表面に係合しない前記部分は、前記環状バッキング部材の第2の軸方向端面と同一平面上にある、請求項4に記載の外輪。
- 前記圧入係合は、前記環状バッキング部材と前記環状レース部材が互いに対して軸方向にも周方向にも動くことができないようにする、請求項1に記載の外輪。
- 軸受組立体において、
外輪であって、
半径方向内表面と半径方向外表面を画定している第1部、及び前記第1部から離れるように角度をなして延びていて、軸方向を向いた基底表面と半径方向を向いた端表面を画定している第2部、を有する本体を有している環状バッキング部材と、
外レースを画定していて、半径方向外面、半径方向内面、第1の軸方向端面、及び第2の軸方向端面を有し、各軸方向端面が前記半径方向外面と前記半径方向内面の間を延びている環状レース部材と、を備え、
前記環状レース部材の前記半径方向外面が前記環状バッキング部材の前記半径方向内表面に係合し、前記環状レース部材の前記第2の軸方向端面が前記環状バッキング部材の前記軸方向を向いた基底表面に係合して、前記環状バッキング部材と前記環状レース部材がユニット化されるように、前記環状バッキング部材が前記環状レース部材と圧入係合されている、外輪と、
内レースを画定している内輪と、
前記内輪が前記外輪に対して回転する構成になるように前記内レース及び前記外レースと転動式に係合されている複数の転動要素と、を備えており、
前記環状レース部材の前記第2の軸方向端面は、前記環状バッキング部材の前記半径方向を向いた端表面に係合する段部を含んでおり、
前記環状バッキング部材の前記半径方向外表面は、前記軸受組立体の予荷重を調節するためにハウジングに対して軸方向に可動であるように前記ハウジングに係合するよう構成されている、軸受組立体。 - 前記環状バッキング部材と前記環状レース部材がユニット化され、前記軸受組立体内に設置されたときに、前記環状バッキング部材と前記環状レース部材のうちの、前記環状レース部材のみが前記転動要素と接触するように構成されている、請求項7に記載の軸受組立体。
- 前記第2の軸方向端面の、前記段部の第1の側の部分は前記軸方向を向いた基底表面に係合し、前記第2の軸方向端面の、前記段部の反対側の隣接部分は前記軸方向を向いた基底表面に係合しない、請求項7に記載の軸受組立体。
- 前記圧入係合は、前記環状バッキング部材と前記環状レース部材が互いに対して軸方向にも周方向にも動くことができないようにする、請求項7に記載の軸受組立体。
