Description
以下、電源装置100の制御について図2を参照して説明する。通常制御時において、各電池モジュール102(102a,102b,・・・102n)のAND素子22に対してゲート駆動信号処理回路20からハイ(H)レベルの制御信号が入力される。また、各電池モジュール102(102a,102b,・・・102n)のOR素子24に対してゲート駆動信号処理回路20からロー(L)レベルの制御信号が入力される。したがって、第1スイッチ素子16のゲート端子にはゲート駆動信号処理回路20からの出力信号がNOT素子26を介して反転信号として入力され、第2スイッチ素子18のゲート端子にはゲート駆動信号処理回路20からの出力信号がそのまま入力される。
次に、複数の電池モジュール102(102a,102b,・・・102n)のうち選択されたものを強制的に切り離す制御について説明する。制御コントローラ104は、強制的に切り離す対象とする電池モジュール102のゲート駆動信号処理回路20に対して強制切断信号を出力する。強制切断信号を受信したゲート駆動信号処理回路20は、自己の電池モジュール102に属するAND素子22に対してロー(L)レベルの制御信号を出力し、OR素子24に対してロー(L)レベルの制御信号を出力する。これによって、AND素子22からはロー(L)レベルが出力され、OR素子24を介して、第1スイッチ素子16のゲート端子にはNOT素子26によってハイ(H)レベルが入力され、第2スイッチ素子18のゲート端子にはロー(L)レベルが入力される。したがって、第1スイッチ素子16は常時オン状態となり、第2スイッチ素子18は常時オフ状態とされ、該当する電池モジュール102はゲート駆動信号の状態によらず強制的に切り離された状態(パススルー状態)となる。
以下、電源装置100におけるSOC推定処理について説明する。図7は、本実施の形態におけるSOC推定処理のフローチャートを示す。
本実施の形態では、上記強制切り離し制御において電源装置100の出力電圧を確保し、出力電力の制御が破綻しないように切り離される電池モジュール102の数を制限する。
Claims (2)
- 二次電池を有する電池モジュールを複数含み、制御コントローラからのゲート駆動信号に応じて前記電池モジュールに含まれる前記二次電池が相互に直列接続される電源装置であって、
前記ゲート駆動信号に関わらず前記電池モジュールを前記直列接続から強制的に切り離す切断手段を備え、
出力目標電圧値Voutに応じて、前記切断手段によって強制的に切り離される前記電池モジュールの個数Npassを、前記出力目標電圧値Voutを出力可能である最大限の個数に限定することなく、前記電池モジュールの総数Nmodから前記出力目標電圧値Vout/前記電池モジュールの平均出力電圧値Vmodを減算した個数未満に制限することを特徴とする電源装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電源装置であって、
前記切断手段によって強制的に切り離される前記電池モジュールの個数に応じて、前記出力目標電圧値以上の出力電圧を出力できない場合に出力を停止させることを特徴とする電源装置。
