Description
Claims (7)
- 貫通孔と該貫通孔に挿通される軸との間の密封を図るための密封装置であって、
前記密封装置の軸線の周りに環状の補強環と、
前記補強環に取り付けられている前記軸線の周りに環状の弾性体から形成された弾性体部とを備え、
前記弾性体部は環状のシールリップを有しており、
前記シールリップは、前記軸に接触するように形成された内周側に突出する環状のリップ先端部と、該リップ先端部よりも前記密封装置の軸線方向において密封対象物側に設けられた環状の突起である内側ダストリップとを有しており、
前記内側ダストリップは、前記軸線に向かって突出しており、前記軸に接触するように形成されており、
前記シールリップは、前記内側ダストリップの根元の外周側に窪みを形成する窪み部を有していることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 前記窪み部は、前記軸線の周りに無端環状に延びていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の密封装置。
- 前記窪み部は、前記軸線の周りに断続して環状に延びていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の密封装置。
- 前記窪み部は、前記シールリップの前記密封対象物側に面する面である内側端面に、前記密封対象物側とは反対側に窪む部分を形成していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載の密封装置。
- 前記窪み部は、前記内側ダストリップにつながっていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項記載の密封装置。
- 前記内側ダストリップの延び方向の長さと前記内側ダストリップの前記延び方向に直交する方向の幅との比である前記内側ダストリップのアスペクト比は2未満であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項記載の密封装置。
- 前記窪み部の断面形状は、V字状、矩形状、曲線状の部分と直線状の部分とが接続した形状、及びこれらの組み合わせのうちの一つであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項記載の密封装置。
