Description
次に、本発明の実施の形態について図面を参照して説明する。図1は本発明のランプユニット1を自動車のヘッドランプHLに適用した実施形態1の縦断面図である。ヘッドランプHLのランプハウジング3内にランプユニット1が内装されており、このランプユニット1に光源モジュール2が組み込まれている。前記ランプハウジング3は、容器状をしたランプボディ31と、このランプボディ31の前面開口に取り付けられる透光性の前面カバー32で構成されている。
図5は実施形態2のランプユニット1Aの一部の断面図と光源モジュール2Aの平面図であり、図6はその分解斜視図である。なお、実施形態1と等価な部分には同一符号を付してある。この実施形態2の光源モジュール2Aは、伝熱性プレート21と、FPC22と、LED23で構成されているが、伝熱性プレート21は、ランプユニット1Aの金属製のベース11の一部で構成されている。したがって、以下において、伝熱性プレート21を金属プレート21(11)と称し、その製造工程を含めて説明する。

Claims (5)
- 光源モジュールと、この光源モジュールから出射される光を所要の配光で投影するための光学系を備えており、前記光源モジュールは、伝熱性プレートと、この伝熱性プレートに取り付けられる所要の長さ寸法と幅寸法を有する回路基板と、この回路基板に搭載されかつ当該回路基板を介して給電される発光素子を備え、前記伝熱性プレートに前記光学系が取り付けられているランプユニットの製造方法であって、
前記発光素子が搭載された前記回路基板を前記伝熱性プレートに取り付ける工程と、
前記伝熱性プレートの前記回路基板を幅方向に挟む2箇所に、前記光学系に設けられた突起が挿入される取付穴を開口する工程を含み、
前記取付穴を開口する工程においては、前記発光素子の発光面の中心位置を基準位置とし、この基準位置と前記取付穴の開口中心位置の相対位置が、取り付けられた前記回路基板の長手方向と幅方向のそれぞれについて所要の寸法関係となる位置に開口する
ことを特徴とするランプユニットの製造方法。 - 前記取付穴を開口する工程は、レーザ加工により穴を開ける工程である請求項1に記載のランプユニットの製造方法。
- 前記伝熱性プレートは金属プレートで構成される請求項2に記載のランプユニットの製造方法。
- 前記回路基板はFPCで構成され、前記発光素子は当該FPCに搭載される請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のランプユニットの製造方法。
- 前記光学系は、前記発光素子から出射した光を反射するためのリフレクタと、前記発光素子から出射した光を所要の配光で投影する投影レンズの少なくとも一方を含む請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のランプユニットの製造方法。
