Description
本発明の積層フィルムを構成するコート層は、成分(a):ウレタンアクリレート(光硬化性ウレタンアクリレートオリゴマー)と、成分(b):ウレタン単位を有さずフッ素原子を含有する光重合性アクリル系化合物類とからなる光重合性コーティング液を、上述の基材層上で重合開始剤の存在下に硬化させて得られる樹脂である。コート層の厚みは、一般的には1~100μm、好ましくは5~50μm、より好ましくは5~30μmである。
コート層形成時に用いる光重合性コーティング液は、成分(a):ウレタンアクリレートを20重量%以上50重量%未満、好ましくは30重量%以上50重量%未満の濃度で含む。
またあるいは、イソシアネート化合物とポリオール化合物とを反応させ、一旦、イソシアネート基過剰のプレポリマーを製造し、次いで、残存イソシアネート基と水酸基を有する(メタ)アクリレート化合物と反応させることができる。これらの手法で製造されたウレタンアクリレートは、ポリウレタン鎖を持つことが好ましい。
コート層形成時に用いる光重合性コーティング液は、上記成分(a)と光共重合する成分として、成分(b):ウレタン単位を有さずフッ素原子を含有する光重合性アクリル系化合物類を、50重量%以上80重量%未満、好ましくは50重量%以上70重量%未満の濃度で含む。
上記成分(a)と成分(b)とを含む光重合性コーティング液の硬化に用いられる重合開始剤としては、光重合開始剤の名で流通しているものを制限なく使用することができる。このような光重合開始剤として、例えば、オリゴ{2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチル-1-フェニルプロパンオン}等のヒドロキシケトンのポリマー体、1-ヒドロキシジシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン、2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチル-1-フェニルプロパン-1-オン、2,2-ジメトキシ-1,2-ジフェニルエタン-1-オン、1-{4(2-ヒドロキシエトキシ)フェニル}2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチル-1-プロパン1-オン、2,4,6-トリメチルベンゾイルジフェニルフォスフインオキサイド、ビス(2,4,6トリメチルベンゾイル)フェニルフォスフインオキサイド等を使用することができる。
コート層には、一般的に塗料やフィルムの材料に配合される酸化防止剤、耐候安定剤、調色剤、希釈剤などの添加剤を配合することができる。その配合量は、コート層の機能を低下させない範囲であれば制限されない。
本発明の積層フィルムを構成する基材層としては、熱可塑性ポリウレタンからなるフィルムが用いられる。このようなフィルムとして公知の熱可塑性ポリウレタンフィルムが制限なく使用されるが、一般的には、ポリカーボネート系熱可塑性ポリウレタンからなるフィルム、あるいは、ポリカプロラクトン系熱可塑性ポリウレタンからなるフィルムが用いられる。
本発明の積層フィルムを構成する粘着層は、感圧型接着剤からなる。本発明で用いる感圧型接着剤としては、PPFの施行温度下、すなわち約20℃~約30℃の温度で粘着性を示し、熱可塑性ポリウレタン系材料からなる成形品とガラスや金属、プラスチック、紙などの物品との接着に用いられるものであれば、公知の物を制限なく使用することができる。このような感圧型接着剤として、市販のアクリル系感圧型接着剤、ウレタン系感圧型接着剤を使用することができ、好ましくはアクリル系感圧型接着剤が用いられる。粘着層の厚みは特に限定されないが、通常は10~200μm程度である。
本発明の積層フィルムを構成する粘着層には、好ましくはさらに剥離層が積層される。剥離層の材料としては公知の剥離材が制限なく用いられ、例えばポリエステル系樹脂やポリオレフィン系樹脂などの樹脂製フィルム、セロハン紙、グラシン紙や、これらにフッ素系あるいはシリコン系剥離剤で表面被覆したものを使用することができる。剥離層の厚みは特に限定されないが、通常は20~200μm程度である。
本発明の積層フィルムには、その保管、運搬、販売の形態に応じて、コート層の外表面を保護層で被覆することができる。このような保護層の材質に制限はなく、一般的に使用されているポリエチレンフィルムなどのプラスチック製フィルムや剥離処理された紙類などを適宜選択することができる。
本発明の積層フィルムの製造方法は、各層の形成・積層に適した方法を制限なく採用することができる。例えば、本発明の積層フィルムが剥離層と保護層を有する場合には、本発明の積層フィルムを以下の工程を経て製造することができる。
このようにして完成した本発明の積層フィルムは、適当な長さの単位で切断、積載、あるいは巻き取られて、PPFとして利用することができる。PPFを施行する際には、塗装面の形状や大きさに合わせた形状に本発明の積層フィルムを裁断し、裁断された積層フィルムを適度な力で展張して塗装面に粘着層を密着させる。
まず以下の手順でγ-メタクリロキシプロピルヘプタ(トリフルオロプロピル)-T8-シルセスキオキサンを合成した。還流冷却器、温度計および滴下漏斗を取り付けた内容積1Lの4つ口フラスコに、トリフルオロプロピルトリメトキシシラン(100g)、THF(500mL)、脱イオン水(10.5g)および水酸化ナトリウム(7.9g)を仕込み、マグネチックスターラーで攪拌しながら、室温からTHFが還流する温度までオイルバスにより加熱した。還流開始から5時間撹拌を継続して反応を完結させた。その後、フラスコをオイルバスから引き上げ、室温で1晩静置した後、再度オイルバスにセットし固体が析出するまで定圧下で加熱濃縮した。
光重合性化合物として以下の成分(a)及び成分(b)を用いた。成分(a):ウレタンアクリレートとして、トクシキ社製UV硬化型自己修復塗料「AUP-838(有効成分であるウレタンアクリレートの濃度:48.0重量%)」を使用した。成分(b):ウレタン単位を有さずフッ素原子を含有する光重合性アクリル系化合物類ウレタンアクリレートとして、日本化薬社製紫外線硬化型樹脂(5官能以上)「KAYARAD DPCA-120」(ウレタン単位を有さない重合性アクリル系化合物からなる。)と、DIC社製フッ素含有UV反応型表面改質剤「メガファックRS75」(ウレタン単位を有さずフッ素を含有する重合性アクリル系化合物を40.0重量%の濃度で含む。)と、上述の方法で得られたXUA008とを使用した。
基材層(Argotec社製熱可塑性ポリウレタンフィルム「ARGOGUARD49510」の片面に市販のアクリル系感圧型接着剤をダイコートにより塗布し、70℃で3分間乾燥した。こうして基材層の片面に厚み40μmの粘着層を形成した。
得られた積層フィルムを以下の観点で評価した。結果を表1に示す。
(1)像鮮明度試験(平滑性)
積層フィルムから50mm×50mmの片を切り出し、この片から剥離フィルムを除去した。塗装板として、黒色塗料で塗装された硬質塩化ビニル樹脂板(カピロン、K-5930)を用意した。上記積層フィルム片の粘着層表面と塗装板の塗装面とに水(ただしジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソン社製ベビーシャンプーが体積基準で1万倍に希釈されている)を噴霧した後、積層フィルムの粘着層面を塗装面に接触させ、市販のゴム製スキージーで積層フィルムと塗装面との間に生じる気泡、水泡を除きながら積層フィルムを押圧して、積層フィルムを塗装板に貼り付けた。積層フィルムが貼り付けられた塗装板を、表面に気泡、水泡が目視観察されなくなるまで室温に静置した。こうしてテストサンプルが完成した。
像鮮明度(%)=[(M-m)/(M+m)]×100
積層フィルムのコート層の表面に黒色油性マーカー(Sharpie製)で描画し、油性インキの撥かれ方を観察した。さらに描画部分を不織布(小津産業社製ダスパーK-3)で擦って油性インキの拭き取り性を観察した。観察結果を以下の基準により判定した。
+: インキがはじかれ、きれいに拭き取れた。
-: 拭き取れなかった。
積層フィルムから切り出した20mm×90mmの片を25mm×100mmのステンレス板に貼り付け、自動接触角計DMs-400(協和界面科学社製)を用いて積層フィルムのコート層の水接触角を測定した。プローブ水としては窒素・りん測定用蒸留水(関東化学社製)を用いた。
(2)の試験で防汚性、さらに(3)の試験で高い撥水性が示されたサンプルにおいて、防汚持続性を評価した。(3)の測定と同様に積層フィルムから切り出した20mm×90mmの片を25mm×100mmのステンレス板に貼り付け、自動接触角計DMs-400(協和界面科学社製)を用いて積層フィルムのコート層の水接触角(劣化前、θ1)を測定した。プローブ水としては窒素・りん測定用蒸留水(関東化学社製)を用いた。
・ステップ1:紫外線照射(紫外線照射量:0.71W/m2、温度:60℃、時間:4時間)
・ステップ2:結露(温度:50℃、時間:4時間)
・ステップ3:ステップ1に戻る

先述の、基材層、粘着層、剥離層がこの順で接しコート層を有さない積層フィルムから、25mm×70mmの片を切り出し、剥離層を除去した。得られた基材層、粘着層がこの順で接しコート層を有さない2層積層フィルム(標準フィルム)を引張・圧縮・曲げ試験機ストログラフVG(東洋精機製作所社製)で引っ張った時の応力変化を測定し、応力(N/mm2)-ひずみ曲線を得た。この時の引っ張り条件は、初期チャック間距離:30mm、クロスヘッド移動速度:500mm/分、最大チャック間距離:90mmであった。標準フィルムのヤング率(E1)(MPa)を、以下の式で表される、応力(N/mm2)-ひずみ曲線の初期直線領域の傾きとして算出した。
標準フィルムのヤング率(E1)(MPa)=応力(N/mm2)/ひずみ
3層積層フィルムのヤング率(E2)(MPa)=応力(N/mm2)/ひずみ
ヤング率の差(ΔE)(MPa)=(E2-E1)
積層フィルムから35mm×200mmの片を切り出し、剥離層を除去して、コート層、基材層、粘着層がこの順で接した積層フィルムを用意した。この積層フィルムを引張・圧縮・曲げ試験機ストログラフVG(東洋精機製作所社製)で引っ張り破断させた。この時の引っ張り条件は、初期チャック間距離:100mm、クロスヘッド移動速度:127mm/分であった。テストサンプル表面にクラックが発生する地点を目視で検出し、破断までの積層フィルムの伸長性を、以下の式で表される破断伸度(%)として求めた。
破断伸度(%)=(破断時までのクロスヘッド移動距離(mm)/初期チャック間距離(100mm))×100
積層フィルムから40mm×130mmの片を切り出し、剥離層を除去して、コート層、基材層、粘着層がこの順で接した積層フィルムを用意した。別途、自動車用黒色塗料で塗装されたアルミ板(幅50mm、縦150mm、厚み1.2mm)を用意した。

Claims (3)
- 光重合性コーティング液の硬化物からなるコート層、熱可塑性ポリウレタンからなる基材層、感圧型接着剤からなる粘着層がこの順で接してなり、
上記光重合性コーティング液が、成分(a):ウレタンアクリレートと成分(b):ウレタン単位を有さない光重合性アクリル系化合物類とを、光重合性成分として含み、
上記成分(b)が、
成分(b1):ウレタン単位を有さない重合性多官能アクリル系化合物、
成分(b2):パーフルオロポリエーテル骨格を有する重合性多官能アクリル系化合物、
成分(b3):以下の式(1)で表されるフルオロシルセスキオキサン誘導体に由来する構造単位、上記成分(a),(b1),(b2)のいずれにも該当しない重合性アクリル系化合物に由来する構造単位、片末端ビニル基含有ポリオルガノシロキサン化合物に由来する構造単位を有し、側鎖にアクリロイル基を有する重合体、
(式(1)において、Rf 1~Rf 7はそれぞれ独立して、任意のメチレンが酸素で置き換えられていてもよい、炭素数1~20の、直鎖状もしくは分岐鎖状のフルオロアルキル;少なくとも1つの水素がフッ素もしくはトリフルオロメチルで置き換えられた、炭素数6~20のフルオロアリール;またはアリール中の少なくとも1つの水素がフッ素もしくはトリフルオロメチルで置き換えられた、炭素数7~20のフルオロアリールアルキルを示し、A1は、下記式(1―1)または式(1―2)で表される基である。)
(式(1―1)において、Y3は炭素数2~10のアルキレンを示し、R6は水素、または炭素数1~5の直鎖もしくは分岐鎖のアルキル、または炭素数6~10のアリールを示す。)

上記成分(a)と成分(b)とが上記光重合性成分の全量100重量部当たり、成分(a):20重量%以上50重量%未満、成分(b):50重量%以上80重量%未満の割合で混合されてなり、上記成分(b)が、上記成分(a)100重量部に対して0.1重量部以上16.6重量部以下の上記成分(b2)と、上記成分(a)100重量部に対して0.01重量部以上10重量部以下の上記成分(b3)とを含む、
積層フィルム。 - 請求項1または2のいずれか1項に記載の積層フィルムを用いたペイントプロテクションフィルム。
