Description
レンズ高さ(h)は、ピタゴラスの方程式(r-h)2+a2=r2から計算することができる。従って、h=r―(r2-a2)0.5である。
例えば、光学流体の屈折率が1.4であり、レンズの直径が3mmである場合、各変形可能部182からの28ミクロンの動きは、形状変化薄膜に対して光学流体によって加えられた十分な量の圧力を作り出して1Dのレンズを形成する。そして、レンズの直径が3mmである場合、各変形可能部182の84ミクロンの動きは形状変化薄膜に対して光学流体によって加えられた十分な量の圧力を作り出して3Dのレンズを形成する。

Claims (21)
- 眼を治療するための遠近調節型眼内レンズデバイスであって、前記遠近調節型眼内レンズデバイスは、
ある体積の流体を含む密閉チャンバを有するレンズ体であって、
前記レンズ体の中央領域で外側に湾曲するように構成され、前記レンズ体の周辺領域の近くの第1厚さ、及び前記レンズ体の中央領域の近くの第2厚さを有する前方壁部と、
前記密閉チャンバに圧縮力が付与されると、前記前方壁部に対して目の光学軸に向かって内方変位を受けるように構成された周辺壁部と、
前記レンズ体の前記周辺領域で前記前方壁部に結合され、前記レンズ体の光学要素を機械的に分離して、遠近調節中の歪みを防止する周辺支持体であって、前記周辺壁部から一定距離離れ、内方変位中に前記周辺壁部との接触を回避するために先細りになる外壁を有する周辺支持体と、を備えるレンズ体と、
目の水晶体嚢内に配置されるように構成された安定化ハプティックと、
前記レンズ体の前記周辺壁部から外方に突出し、前記水晶体嚢の外側に伸びて、目の毛様体構造に係合するように構成され、毛様体構造が移動すると、前記レンズ体に対して移動し、前記周辺壁部に前記圧縮力を付与するように構成されている力変換アームと、を備える遠近調節型眼内レンズデバイス。 - 前記力変換アームの移動は目の前記光学軸に向かう内方であり、前記圧縮力は前記密閉チャンバの周辺領域の変形を生じる、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記変形により前記密閉チャンバ内の流体が前記前方壁部の内面を押圧し、前記中央領域を外方へ湾曲させる、請求項2に記載のデバイス。
- 前記安定化ハプティックが、開ループの、閉ループの、プレートの、プレート・ループの、単ブロック・プレートの、j-ループの、c-ループの、修正されたJ-ループの、複数ピースの、単一ピースの、角張った、平面のものからなる群から選ばれる、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記安定化ハプティックが、前記力変換アームとは異なる平面上に配置される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記レンズ体は、さらに、形状変形を受けない静的な要素からなり、前記静的な要素は、前記レンズ体の後側にある、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記静的な要素は、屈折力を有する静的なレンズからなる、請求項6に記載のデバイス。
- 前記屈折力は、±30Dまでである請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 前記前方壁部は、前記第1厚さと前記第2厚さの間に、一定の厚さを有する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記レンズ体の前記前方壁部は、前記第1厚さと前記第2厚さの間に、可変厚さを有する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記レンズ体の前記周辺領域の近くの前記第1厚さは、前記中央領域の近くの前記第2厚さより大きく、前記中央領域は目の前記光学軸を囲む、請求項10に記載のデバイス。
- 前記前方壁部は、前記周辺領域から前記中央領域に向かって、線形の勾配厚さ又は湾曲した勾配厚さを有する、請求項11に記載のデバイス。
- 前記流体は、可視スペクトルにおいて高い清澄さ及び透過性の非圧縮性の液体又はゲルを備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記流体は、シリコーン、官能化シリコーン、炭化水素、官能化炭化水素流体である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記流体は、フッ化シリコーン、芳香族シリコーン、またはフェニル官能化シリコーンである、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記流体は、長鎖炭化水素流体、又はハロゲン化炭化水素流体である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記流体は、フルオロシリコーンオイルである、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記力変換アームは、前記レンズ体の前記周辺壁部と前記毛様体構造との間に延在するように構成された長さを有する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記毛様体構造は、毛様体筋、毛様体、毛様体突起及び小帯の少なくとも1つを備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記レンズ体の少なくとも一部は、目の内側で、目の水晶体嚢の前方部の嚢切開の外側に配置されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記周辺支持体は、前記密閉チャンバの変形可能領域と中央領域の間の流体連通を可能にする1又はそれ以上のチャネルを含む請求項1に記載のデバイス。
