シリケートガラス及びそれを焼成してなる焼結体を作製し、各種物性を後記する方法で測定した。まず、シリケートガラスを構成する各成分を生成するための表1に記載の各酸化物を120℃で加熱して乾燥した。次に、シリケートガラスの構成成分の組成が表1に記載の通りになるように各酸化物を秤量し、ボールミルを用いて混合し、混合物を得た。
まず、シリケートガラスを構成する各成分を生成するための表1に記載の各酸化物を120℃で加熱して乾燥した。次に、シリケートガラスの構成成分の組成が、実施例5では実施例1と同一、実施例6では実施例4と同一になるように各酸化物を秤量し、ボールミルを用いて混合し、混合物を得た。
前記方法により得た粉末状のシリケートガラスを精製水に混合してスラリー化させた後、φ16mm×1.6mmの円筒状の金型に充填し、コンデンス(水分除去)と吸水を繰り返し、シリケートガラスの成形体を得た。次に、前記成形体を歯科技工用ポーセレン焼成炉(商品名:「ノリタケ カタナ(登録商標) F-1」、SKメディカル電子株式会社製)を用いて、前記成形体を室温になった炉内に入れ、任意の特定の温度まで加熱し、焼成させた。その後、即座に放冷し、室温まで放冷後に、焼き上がり状態を目視にて観察した。処理後の成形体(焼結体)の表面が滑沢で、透明度が高く背景が透過する状態(すなわち焼成に至った状態)であると共に、焼成前の形状が維持されている状態(すなわち、過剰焼成により変形が生じていない状態)の焼結体が得られた場合に、そのような状態の焼結体が得られる最低の温度を、本発明におけるシリケートガラスの適正焼成温度とした。各実施例及び比較例の評価結果を表2に示す。
シリケートガラスの焼結体の結晶系の測定方法は、X線回折(XRD)パターンによって確認した。前記方法により得た粉末状のシリケートガラスのXRD回折分析には、線源にCuKα線を用いたXRD分析装置(商品名:RINT-TTR III、株式会社リガク製)により、測定角2θを0°~60°の範囲とする測定を行った。本発明のシリケートガラスは、XRDパターンによって結晶相を検出できなくてもよい。
熱膨張係数は、シリケートガラスを焼成してなる焼結体を試料片に用いて、ISO 6872:2015に準拠して測定した。具体的には、以下の方法で測定した。
前記方法により得た粉末状のシリケートガラスを精製水に混合してスラリー化させた。その後、得られたスラリーをφ7mm×24mmの円筒状のシリコン枠に充填し、コンデンスと吸水を繰り返し、成形体を得た。次に、前記成形体を歯科技工用ポーセレン焼成炉(商品名:「ノリタケ カタナ(登録商標) F-1」、SKメディカル電子株式会社製)を用いて、前記成形体を室温になった炉内に入れ、表2の適正焼成温度まで加熱し、焼成させた。その後、即座に放冷し、室温まで放冷して、焼結体を得た。次に、焼結体に対して、研削機(ハンドグラインダー)を用いて、φ5mm×20mmの焼結体に調整し、試験片を得た。次に、前記試験片を熱機械分析装置(商品名:Thermo plus TMA8310、株式会社リガク製)を用いて、24℃以下から5℃/分で550℃まで昇温させ、25~500℃までの熱膨張係数を測定した。各実施例及び比較例の評価結果を表2に示す。
まず、市販のジルコニアディスク(商品名:「ノリタケ カタナ(登録商標) ジルコニア」ディスクHT-12、クラレノリタケデンタル株式会社製)を、ダイヤモンドカッターを用いて切り出し、10mm×10mm×2mmの平板状のジルコニアフレームを準備した。次に、これを歯科技工用ポーセレン焼成炉(商品名:「ノリタケ カタナ(登録商標) F-1」、SKメディカル電子株式会社製)にて室温から1500℃まで加熱し、焼成させた。焼成後、その表面をダイヤモンド砥粒の研磨紙にて流水下で、厚さ1.50mmに研磨加工し、粒子径0.05mmのアルミナサンドを0.2MPaでサンドブラスト処理を行い、表面をつや消し状態とした。最後に、アセトンに入れ超音波洗浄を行い、ジルコニアフレームを得た。
ΔEa*b*=[(ΔL*)2+(Δa*)2+(Δb*)2]1/2
ΔEa*b*は製造方法による差、すなわち、ジルコニア基材の色調変化(変色)の指標であり、ΔEa*b*が大きいほど変色が大きく、ΔEa*b*が小さいほど変色が小さいことを示す。ΔEa*b*は、ISO/TR 28642:2011の観点から2.7以下が好ましい。さらに、ΔEa*b*は、2.0以下がより好ましく、1.6以下がさらに好ましい。各実施例及び比較例の評価結果を表2に示す。

- 69.0~89.0mol%のSiO2、
5.0~13.0mol%のAl2O3、
3.0~9.0mol%のK2O、
1.0~4.0mol%のNa2O、及び、
0.05~13.0mol%のCaO
を含み、B2O3を実質的に含有せず、
{(Al2O3のモル数)/(RO+R2Oの合計モル数)}が0.70以上であり、
前記ROで表される金属酸化物のRは周期表の第2族又は第12族の金属元素を表し、R2Oで表される金属酸化物のRは周期表の第1族の金属元素を表し、ISO 6872:2015に準拠して測定した熱膨張係数が11.0×10-6K-1以下である、シリケートガラス。 - ZnOを実質的に含有しない、請求項1に記載のシリケートガラス。
- MgO、BaO、及びSrOを実質的に含有しない、請求項1又は2に記載のシリケートガラス。
- 顔料及び不透明剤からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つをさらに含有する、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のシリケートガラス。
- シリケートガラスからなる歯科用陶材と、セラミックスからなる基材とを含む複合体からなる焼結体の製造方法であって、
前記シリケートガラスが、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のシリケートガラスであり、
前記歯科用陶材を前記基材上に塗布又は築盛する工程、及び前記基材と前記歯科用陶材とを同時焼成する工程を含む、焼結体の製造方法。 - 請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のシリケートガラスと、セラミックスからなる基材とを含む複合体。
- セラミックスが、ジルコニアセラミックスである、請求項6に記載の複合体。
- 請求項6又は7に記載の複合体の焼結体。
- 請求項8に記載の焼結体を含む歯科用製品。
