Description
本出願は、2018年06月12日に提出された大韓民国特許出願第10-2018-0067624号に基づく優先権の利益を主張し、該当韓国特許出願の文献に開示されたすべての内容は本明細書の一部として組み込まれる。
本出願は、光学デバイスに関する。
異方性度(R)=[E(p)-E(s)]/[E(p)+2*E(s)]
正面位相差(Rin) = d × (nx - ny)
厚さ方向の位相差(Rth) = d × (nz - ny)
外観不良は、実施例1及び比較例1で製造された光学デバイスを高温長期耐久性テスト(100℃の温度で約168時間維持)に適用し、光学デバイスの外観にしわの発生有無で光学デバイスの外観不良を測定した。
液晶素子としてゲスト-ホスト液晶素子(セルギャップ:約12μm、基材フィルム種類:PET(poly(ethylene terephthalate)フィルム)、液晶/染料混合物の種類:Merck社のMAT-16-969液晶と二色性染料ゲスト(BASF社、X12)の混合物)とPVA(polyvinylalcohol)系偏光子を2枚の外郭基板の間で硬化性接着フィルム及び非硬化性接着フィルムで封止して光学デバイスを製造した。
前記第1外郭基板と前記液晶素子の間及び前記偏光子と第2外郭基板の間に第1接着フィルムの代わりに第2接着フィルムを用い、液晶素子及び偏光子の全ての側面にも第1接着フィルムの代わりに第2接着フィルムを用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同一に光学デバイスを製造した。
Claims (17)
- 対向配置されている第1外郭基板及び第2外郭基板;
前記第1外郭基板及び第2外郭基板の間に位置する液晶素子;及び
前記第1外郭基板及び第2外郭基板の間で前記液晶素子を封止している複数の接着フィルム;
を含み、
前記複数の接着フィルムは、硬化性接着フィルムと非硬化性接着フィルムを含み、
前記硬化性接着フィルムは、化学的硬化反応を誘発することができる成分を含み、前記非硬化性接着フィルムは、化学的硬化反応を誘発することができる成分を含まず、
前記複数の接着フィルムは、前記液晶素子の全面を被覆し、
前記第1外郭基板及び第2外郭基板は、ガラス基板である、
光学デバイス。 - 前記第1外郭基板及び第2外郭基板の曲率の差が10%以内である、
請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。 - 液晶素子は、
液晶ホストと二色性染料ゲストを含み、
第1配向状態と第2配向状態の間をスイッチングすることができる液晶層を有する、
請求項1または2に記載の光学デバイス。 - 液晶素子は、対向配置されている2枚の基材フィルムと前記2枚の基材フィルムの間に具備された液晶層を含む、
請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の光学デバイス。 - 前記2枚の基材フィルムは、液晶層に向ける面上に導電層又は配向膜を追加で含む、
請求項4に記載の光学デバイス。 - 硬化性接着フィルムは、エチレン酢酸ビニル接着フィルムやエポキシ接着樹脂、アクリレート接着樹脂又はシリコーン接着樹脂を含む、
請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の光学デバイス。 - 非硬化性接着フィルムは、熱可塑性ポリウレタン接着フィルム又はポリオレフィン接着フィルムである、
請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の光学デバイス。 - 非硬化性接着フィルムは、厚さ方向の位相差(Rth)の絶対値が50nm以下である、
請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の光学デバイス。 - 硬化性接着フィルムは、前記第1外郭基板と液晶素子の間;及び第2外郭基板と液晶素子の間に位置する、
請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の光学デバイス。 - 第1及び第2外郭基板の間に位置する偏光子を追加で含む、
請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の光学デバイス。 - 第1外郭基板;
第2外郭基板;
前記第1外郭基板と第2外郭基板の間に位置する液晶素子;
前記第2外郭基板と液晶素子の間に位置する偏光子;及び
前記第1外郭基板及び第2外郭基板の間で前記液晶素子及び偏光子を封止している複数の接着フィルム;
を含み、
前記複数の接着フィルムは、硬化性接着フィルムと非硬化性接着フィルムを含み、
前記硬化性接着フィルムは、化学的硬化反応を誘発することができる成分を含み、前記非硬化性接着フィルムは、化学的硬化反応を誘発することができる成分を含まず、
前記非硬化性接着フィルムは、前記液晶素子及び偏光子の間に位置し、
前記複数の接着フィルムは、前記液晶素子及び前記偏光子の全面を被覆し、
前記第1外郭基板及び第2外郭基板は、ガラス基板である、
