- 標的組織を切除するように構成される装置であって、前記装置が、患者内の標的組織からその近位端部より張力調整可能な捕捉ワイヤと、使用の際に、前記捕捉ワイヤに張力を加えることによって印加される反力に逆らって前記捕捉ワイヤに沿って前進させて、前記標的組織を切除することができるように構成される切除デバイスとを備える、標的組織を切除するように構成される装置であって、
前記装置が、前記捕捉ワイヤの前記近位端部に接続された組織アンカーを備え、前記捕捉ワイヤが前記標的組織に対して前記組織アンカーを係合することによって張力調整可能であり、
前記装置が、前記患者の胸壁と前記標的組織との間の組織路を拡張するため膨脹可能なように構成された拡張カテーテルを備え、前記切除デバイスが、前記標的組織を切除するために前記膨脹させた組織路を通して挿入可能なように構成される、装置。 - 前記装置が、前記切除デバイスの挿入に先立って、前記組織路に沿った固定径通路を提供するため、前記膨張させた拡張カテーテル上に挿入可能であるように構成された固定径スリーブを備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記切除デバイスが、外周切断エッジで終端する中空スリーブを備える、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記切除デバイスが、使用に際して、前記反力に逆らって前記標的組織へと前記捕捉ワイヤに沿って該切除デバイスを回転させながら前進させることにより、前記切断エッジを介して前記標的組織の周辺の組織において切開部を作製し、前記標的組織が前記スリーブ内に位置するまで、前記切開部を通して前記標的組織上に前記中空スリーブを前進させることができるように構成される、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が、前記捕捉ワイヤと前記切除デバイスの両方が前記患者内の組織路を通して同時に引き抜かれて前記標的組織を切除することができるように構成される、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記拡張カテーテルが、使用の際に、前記捕捉ワイヤ上で該捕捉ワイヤに沿って前記組織路に挿入されて、前記捕捉ワイヤに張力を加えることによって供給される反力に逆らって前記標的組織へと前進され得るように構成される、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記拡張カテーテルが、使用の際に、収縮して前記組織路から引き抜かれ、前記組織路に沿って前記固定径通路を後に残すことができるように構成される、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記切除デバイスが、使用に際し、前記切除デバイスが前記反力に逆らって前記標的組織へと前進され、前記切除デバイスの切断エッジを介して前記標的組織の周辺の組織において切開部を作製し、前記標的組織が前記切除デバイス内に位置するまで、前記切開部を通して前記標的組織上を前進することができるように、前記膨張させた拡張カテーテル上に挿入可能であるように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記膨張させた拡張カテーテルが、該膨張させた拡張カテーテルの中心にチャネルを備え、該チャネルを通って前記切除デバイスは挿入可能であり、該チャネルを通って前記切除デバイスは前記反力に逆らって前記標的組織へと前進し、前記切除デバイスの切断エッジを介して前記標的組織の周辺の組織において切開部を作製し、前記標的組織が前記切除デバイス内に位置するまで、前記切開部を通って前記標的組織上を前進することができる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記標的組織が、前記患者の肺内の結節を含む、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
