Description
Claims (25)
- エミッタ軸を有する光エミッタからの光を配光するレンズであって、
前記エミッタ軸の周囲に内部キャビティを画定する内側表面であって、前記光エミッタから受光された光をそれぞれ方向変換する複数の横断内側領域によって形成された内側階段状不連続部を備える、内側表面と、
方向変換された光を受光し、該受光された光をそれぞれ方向変換する複数の横断外側領域によって形成された外側階段状不連続部を備える外側表面と、
を備え、
前記横断外側領域のうちの幾つかは、異なる角度で傾斜し、
前記横断内側領域のうちの少なくとも幾つかは、前記光エミッタから受光された前記光の全内部反射(TIR)を行うように構成されている、レンズ。 - 前記内側表面からオフセットされた2次表面を更に備え、該2次表面は、前記内側表面から受光された光の全内部反射(TIR)を行うように構成されている、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記2次表面は、前記内部キャビティからオフセットされた2次キャビティの境界を少なくとも部分的に定める、請求項2に記載のレンズ。
- 前記2次表面は、反射階段状不連続部を形成する複数の横断反射領域を備える、請求項2又は3に記載のレンズ。
- 前記内側階段状不連続部、前記外側階段状不連続部及び前記反射階段状不連続部のそれぞれにおいて、対応する隣接する横断領域が、それらの間の実質的に平行な交差領域まで延在する、請求項4に記載のレンズ。
- 前記外側階段状不連続部のうちの少なくとも幾つかは、前記2次表面によって反射された光を受光し方向変換するように前記2次表面にわたって光学的に整列されている、請求項2~4のいずれか1項に記載のレンズ。
- 前記横断内側領域のうちの少なくとも幾つかは非平坦である、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のレンズ。
- 前記内側階段状不連続部は、互いに隣接する前記横断内側領域の対をそれぞれ接合する湾曲領域を備える、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載のレンズ。
- 前記エミッタ軸に近接した前記横断内側領域は、前記光エミッタから遠位の前記横断内側領域よりも小さな断面寸法を有する、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載のレンズ。
- 前記内側表面は、内側階段状不連続部の別個のセットを形成する横断内側領域の少なくとも2つのセットを備える、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のレンズ。
- 前記外側表面は、平滑な外側領域を備え、
前記内側階段状不連続部の前記セットのうちの少なくとも1つは、エミッタ光を前記平滑な外側領域に向けて方向変換する、請求項10に記載のレンズ。 - エミッタ軸を有する光エミッタからの光を配光するレンズであって、
前記エミッタ軸の周囲に内部キャビティを画定する内側表面であって、前記光エミッタから受光された光をそれぞれ方向変換する複数の横断内側領域によって形成された内側階段状不連続部を備える、内側表面と、
前記内側表面から外方にオフセットされた少なくとも2つの2次表面であって、前記内側表面から受光された光の全内部反射(TIR)を行うように構成されている、2次表面部分と、
方向変換された光を受光し、該受光された光をそれぞれ方向変換する複数の横断外側領域によって形成された外側階段状不連続部を備える外側表面と、
を備え、
前記外側表面は、対応する前記2次表面によって反射された光を受光して該光を更に方向変換する前記2次表面のそれぞれに対応する外側階段状不連続部を備える、レンズ。 - 前記2次表面は、互いに実質的に対向する分離した表面である、請求項12に記載のレンズ。
- 前記2次表面のうちの少なくとも1つは、反射階段状不連続部を形成する複数の横断反射領域を備える、請求項12又は13に記載のレンズ。
- 前記2次表面部分のうちの少なくとも1つは、反射階段状不連続部を形成する複数の横断反射領域を備える、請求項12~14のいずれか1項に記載のレンズ。
- 前記外側表面は、前記対応する2次表面部分の対応する領域から光を受光する対応する数の別個の外側階段状不連続部を形成する横断外側領域の少なくとも2つのセットを備え、一方は他方の外方にある、請求項12~15のいずれか1項に記載のレンズ。
- 複数の間隔を空けて配置されたLED光源と、該LED光源のうちの対応する1つとそれぞれ光学的に結合された複数のレンズとを備えるLED装置を支持する実装表面を有するヒートシンク構造体を備えるLED照明器具であって、前記レンズは、外側表面と、前記LED光源のエミッタ軸の周囲に内部キャビティを画定する内側表面とを備え、前記内側表面は、前記LED光源から受光された光をそれぞれ方向変換する複数の横断内側領域によって形成された内側表面階段状不連続部を備え、前記外側表面は、方向変換された光を受光し、前記受光された光をそれぞれ方向変換する複数の横断外側領域によって形成された外側表面階段状不連続部を備え、
前記横断外側領域のうちの幾つかは、異なる角度で傾斜し、
前記横断内側領域のうちの少なくとも幾つかは、前記光エミッタから受光された前記光の全内部反射(TIR)を行うように構成されている、LED照明器具。 - 各レンズは、前記内側表面からオフセットされた少なくとも1つの2次表面を更に備え、該少なくとも1つの2次表面は、前記内側表面から受光された光の全内部反射(TIR)を行うように構成されている、請求項17に記載の照明器具。
- 前記少なくとも1つの2次表面は、反射階段状不連続部を形成する複数の横断反射領域を備える、請求項18に記載の照明器具。
- エミッタ軸を有する光エミッタからの光を配光するレンズであって、該レンズは、ファセット出力表面と、平滑な出力表面と、前記ファセット出力表面に向けて全内部反射(TIR)を通じて光を反射する少なくとも1つの反射表面とを備え、前記ファセット出力表面は、横断表面の対によって形成され、該横断表面の各表面は、合成照度パターンを提供するように前記受光された光を方向変換し、

- 前記ファセット出力表面は、主要表面及び非主要表面を備える、請求項20又は21に記載のレンズ。
- 前記非主要表面は、前記主要表面の横断表面の断面寸法よりも小さな断面寸法を有する横断表面部分によって形成されている、請求項22に記載のレンズ。
- 前記ファセット出力表面の前記横断表面は、互いに実質的に平行である実質的に直線状の交差領域まで延在する、請求項20~23のいずれか1項に記載のレンズ。
