Description
酸性ガスを含有する流入天然ガス流を受け取るように配置されており、かつ少なくとも1つのガラス状重合体膜装置を収容する一次膜ユニットと、
一次膜ユニットから出てくる透過流の少なくとも一部を受け取るように配置された圧縮機と、
一次膜ユニットから出てくる透過流の少なくとも一部を受け取るように配置された、迂回ループと、
圧縮機及び迂回ループに行く透過流を制御する手段と、
圧縮機から出てくる圧縮透過流を受け取るように配置されており、かつ少なくとも1つのガラス状重合体膜装置を収容する二次膜ユニットと、
二次膜ユニットから出てくる非透過流を受け取るように配置された圧縮機を備える再循環ループとを備え、
本システムのガラス状重合体膜の合計量「Q」は、以下
Q=Y(MB+NB)、XCB→Cs
式中、「MB」及び「NB」は、それぞれ、一次ユニット及び二次ユニット中のガラス状重合体膜装置の既定量であり、流入天然ガス流の予想される最小酸性ガス含有量「CB」を、要求される非透過酸性ガス含有量仕様「Cs」まで低下させるのに有効であり、かつ式中、「Y(MB+NB)」は、X≦Yの場合及びX>Yの場合に、流入天然ガス流の酸性ガス含有量XCBを、要求される非透過酸性ガス含有量仕様CSまで低下させるのに有効であり、Yは1.1~1.3の範囲にあり、Xは1.0~3.5の範囲にある。
流入ガス流を、少なくとも1つのガラス状重合体膜装置を収容する一次膜ユニットを通過させる工程と、
一次膜ユニットから出てくる透過流の少なくとも一部を圧縮する工程と、
任意選択で、一次膜ユニットから出てくる透過流の一部を、迂回ループに向かわせる工程と、
圧縮透過流を、少なくとも1つのガラス状重合体膜装置を収容する二次膜ユニットを通過させることにより、圧縮透過流から酸性ガスを除去する工程と、
二次膜ユニットから出てくる非透過流の少なくとも一部を圧縮する工程と、
圧縮非透過流を流入ガス流へ再循環させる工程とを備え、
本プロセスのガラス状重合体膜の合計量「Q」は、上記のシステムについて記載されたものと同一である。

式中、MB及びNBは、それぞれ、膜ユニットまたは系列20及び40中のガラス状重合体膜装置の既定量であり、流入ガス流の予想される最小(基準事例)酸性ガス含有量「CB」(例えば20%、25%CO2)を、要求される非透過酸性ガス含有量仕様「Cs」(例えば5%、6%CO2)まで低下させるのに有効であり:かつ
式中、Y(MB+NB)は、X≦Yの場合及びX>Yの場合に、流入天然ガス流の酸性ガス含有量XCBを、要求される非透過酸性ガス含有量仕様CSまで低下させるのに有効であり;Xは、1.0~3.5の範囲にあり、Yは、1.05~1.3の範囲にあり、より好ましくは1.1~1.2の範囲にある。

Claims (17)
- システムであって、
酸性ガスを含有する流入天然ガス流を受け取るように配置されており、かつ量「YMB」の第一膜を収容する一次膜ユニットと、
前記一次膜ユニットから出てくる透過流の少なくとも一部を受け取るように配置された圧縮機と、
前記一次膜ユニットから出てくる前記透過流の少なくとも一部を受け取るように配置された迂回ループと、
前記圧縮機から出てくる圧縮透過流を受け取るように配置されており、かつ量「YNB」の第二膜を収容する二次膜ユニットと、
前記二次膜ユニットから出てくる非透過流を受け取るように配置された圧縮機を備える再循環ループとを備え、
MB+NBは、前記流入天然ガス流の第1の酸性ガス含有量CBを、最後に流出する天然ガス流の酸性ガス含有量CSまで低下させる、第1除去効率を要求する前記第一膜及び前記第二膜の予め定められた量であり、
YMB+YNBは、前記流入天然ガス流の第2の酸性ガス含有量XCBを、最後に流出する天然ガス流の酸性ガス含有量CSまで低下させるより高い第2除去効率のために要求される前記第一膜及び前記第二膜の量であり、1.1<X≦3.5であり、1.1≦Y≦1.3である、前記システム。 - さらに、前記第一膜及び前記第二膜は、螺旋巻回ガラス状重合体膜を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- さらに、前記第一膜及び前記第二膜は、中空繊維ガラス状重合体膜を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。

- 酸性ガス含有量CSを含む流出天然ガス流を達成する膜透過プロセスであって、
流入天然ガス流を、量「YMB」の第一膜を収容する一次膜ユニットを通過させる工程であって、前記一次膜ユニットへの前記流入天然ガス流は、第1の酸性ガス含有量CB、及び、時間と共に、より高く異なる第2の酸性ガス含有量XCB、を含み、ここで、CB>CS、及び1.1<X≦3.5である、前記工程と、
前記一次膜ユニットから出てくる透過流の少なくとも一部を、前記一次膜ユニットと直列に配置された前記二次膜ユニットを通過させる工程であって、前記二次膜ユニットは、量「YNB」の第二膜を収容する、前記二次膜ユニットを通過させる工程と、を備え、
MB+NBは、第1の酸性ガス含有量CBを、前記酸性ガス含有量CSまで低下させる、第1除去効率を要求する前記第一膜及び前記第二膜の予め定められた量であり、
YMB+YNBは、前記第2の酸性ガス含有量XCBを、前記酸性ガス含有量CSまで低下させるより高い第2除去効率のために要求される前記第一膜及び前記第二膜の量であり、1.1≦Y≦1.3である、前記プロセス。 - 前記第一膜及び前記第二膜は、螺旋巻回ガラス状重合体膜を含む、請求項9に記載のプロセス。
- 前記第一膜及び前記第二膜は、中空繊維ガラス状重合体膜を含む、請求項9に記載のプロセス。
- 前記第一膜及び前記第二膜は、酢酸セルロース、三酢酸セルロース、ポリイミド、ポリアミド、ポリスルホン、及び多層複合体からなる群より選択される膜を含む、請求項9に記載のプロセス。
- さらに、前記一次膜ユニットから出てくる前記透過流の一部及び前記二次膜ユニットから出てくる透過流を熱酸化機に向かわせる工程を備える、請求項9に記載のプロセス。
- さらに、前記二次膜ユニットから出てくる前記非透過流の一部を低燃料ガスシステムに向かわせる工程を備える、請求項9に記載のプロセス。
- さらに、前記一次膜ユニットから出てくる前記透過流の少なくとも一部を圧縮する工程と、
前記一次膜ユニットから出てくる透過流の一部を迂回ループに向かわせる工程とを備える、請求項9に記載のプロセス。 - さらに、前記二次膜ユニットから出てくる前記非透過流の少なくとも一部を圧縮する工程と、
圧縮された前記非透過流を前記流入天然ガス流に向かわせる工程と、を備える、請求項9に記載のプロセス。 - 1.15≦Y≦1.3である、請求項9に記載のプロセス。
