Description
このような車両用バッテリパックにおいては、サイドレールと車両用バッテリハウジングとの配置関係により、サイドレールの周辺のスペースを有効に活用してバッテリが搭載されていることになる。これにより、車両に搭載可能なバッテリ容量の増大が図られることになる。
<第一実施例>
上述した第1実施例においては、第2バッテリ収容部64の車幅方向Bにおける幅がサイドレール11のウェブ間の距離よりも大きくなっていたが、サイドレール11のウェブ間の距離よりも小さくてもよい。このような構成のバッテリパックを第二実施例として、図5を参照しつつ説明する。ここで、図5は、第二実施例に係るバッテリハウジングとサイドレールとの位置関係を示す正面図である。
第一実施例に係るバッテリパック60は、断面形状として逆T型の形状を備えていたが、他の形状を備えていてもよい。以下において、断面形状として逆Y型の形状を備える場合を第三実施例として、図6を参照しつつ説明する。ここで、図6は、本実施例に係るバッテリハウジングとサイドレールとの位置関係を示す断面図である。

Claims (9)
- ラダーフレームを備える車両に搭載される車両用バッテリハウジングであって、
前記ラダーフレームの2本のサイドレール間である第1スペースに配置される第1バッテリ収容部と、
前記第1スペースよりも車高方向下方の第2スペースにおいて、前記第1バッテリ収容部に連結され、前記第1バッテリ収容部の車幅方向における幅よりも大きい幅を有する第2バッテリ収容部と、を含み、
前記第2バッテリ収容部の車幅方向における幅は、前記サイドレール間の距離よりも大きく、前記2本のサイドレールのウェブ間の距離よりも小さい、車両用バッテリハウジング。 - 前記第1バッテリ収容部は、一方の前記サイドレールのフランジの車幅方向内側端部と、他方の前記サイドレールのフランジの車幅方向内側端部との間に配置される、請求項1に記載の車両用バッテリハウジング。
- 前記第2バッテリ収容部は、前記第1バッテリ収容部よりも高い剛性を備える、請求項1又は2に記載の車両用バッテリハウジング。
- 前記第1バッテリ収容部及び前記第2バッテリ収容部は、同一の金属から形成される、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の車両用バッテリハウジング。
- 前記第1バッテリ収容部は、バッテリが配置される主収容領域及び前記主収容領域の車幅方向の両端に位置する追加収容領域を備える、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の車両用バッテリハウジング。
- 前記追加収容領域は、前記サイドレールに向かうにつれて、車高方向の寸法が徐々に小さくなる、請求項5に記載の車両用バッテリハウジング。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の車両用バッテリハウジングを備え、
前記第1バッテリ収容部に第1バッテリが収容され、前記第2バッテリ収容部に第2バッテリが収容される、車両用バッテリパック。 - 請求項5又は6に記載の車両用バッテリハウジングを備え、
前記第1バッテリ収容部及び前記第2バッテリ収容部に複数のバッテリが収容され、前記追加収容領域に高電圧配線及び低電圧配線が収容される、車両用バッテリパック。 - 請求項7又は8に記載の車両用バッテリパックを備える電動車両。
