Description
磁性体が混じった液体を通す液体通路と、
前記液体通路中で一部が液面上方に露出するように配置され、回転することで、外周面に吸着された磁性体を搬送する回転ドラムと、
前記回転ドラムの内方に配置された複数の磁石と、
を備え、
前記回転ドラムと液面とが交差する交差位置から液面より高い方のそれぞれの磁石の磁力よりも、前記交差位置から液面よりも低い方のそれぞれの磁石の磁力の方が大きい構成とした。
続いて、ドラム型分離装置1の動作について説明する。ドラム型分離装置1においては、回転ドラム20が回転駆動された状態で、クーラント液が液体通路10に流される。クーラント液が回転ドラム20と流路枠15との間を通過すると、クーラント液に含まれる磁性体kが磁石30(永久磁石33)に引き付けられて回転ドラム20の外周面に吸着される。角度範囲W3に配置された永久磁石33は強い磁力を発生させるため、クーラント液の流れに逆らって磁性体kを回転ドラム20へ吸着させることができる。
図5は、ドラム内の永久磁石の変形例を示す図である。

Claims (4)
- 磁性体が混じった液体を通す液体通路と、
前記液体通路中で一部が液面上方に露出するように配置され、回転することで、外周面に吸着された磁性体を搬送する回転ドラムと、
前記回転ドラムの内方に配置された複数の磁石と、
を備え、
前記回転ドラムと液面とが交差する交差位置から液面より高い方のそれぞれの磁石の磁力よりも、前記交差位置から液面よりも低い方のそれぞれの磁石の磁力の方が大きい、
ドラム型分離装置。 - 前記複数の磁石は、厚みの異なる複数の永久磁石を含み、
前記交差位置から高い方に配置された前記永久磁石の厚みが、前記交差位置から低い方に配置された前記永久磁石の厚みよりも小さい、
請求項1記載のドラム型分離装置。 - 前記複数の磁石は、材質の異なる複数種類の永久磁石を含み、
前記交差位置から高い方に配置された前記永久磁石の材質の方が、前記交差位置から低い方に配置された前記永久磁石の材質よりも小さい磁力を有する、
請求項1記載のドラム型分離装置。 - 前記回転ドラムの外周面との間に磁性体を挟んで液体を分離する絞りローラを更に備え、
前記複数の磁石は、縦断面において、前記回転ドラムの回転中心と前記絞りローラの回転中心とを結ぶ線分に対して前記回転ドラムの回転方向と反回転方向とにそれぞれずれて配置された互いに隣接する第1磁石と第2磁石とを含み、
前記線分が、前記第1磁石の中心と前記第2磁石の中心を結ぶ線分の中点よりも、前記回転方向にずれている、
請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のドラム型分離装置。
