Description
このように構成されるころ軸受は、大型のころ軸受における前記した技術的課題の解決に対応できるものであり、例えば風力発電機の主軸支持用ころ軸受として適用できるものになる。
図1-3に示す実施形態は、鋼材製の外輪1および内輪2と、外輪1および内輪2の間に配置される複数の円すいころ3と、この円すいころ3を収容するポケット4を有し、外輪1および内輪2の間で周方向に順次連ねて環状に配置される複数の樹脂製の保持器セグメント5とを備えた円すいころ軸受であり、保持器セグメント5は、所定の熱膨張性フィラーを所定量含んだ樹脂製のものであり、熱膨張性フィラーを含有する樹脂の線膨張係数(以下、線膨張係数=αで示す場合がある。)が1.0×10-5/℃未満である。
円すいころ3は、円弧状爪部9でポケット4内に抜け止めされており、外輪1および内輪2の軌道面に接しながら回転自在に転動する。
前記所定温度範囲の下限値でのすき間Rの周方向寸法は、保持器セグメント5の中央を通る円の円周の0を超え0.075%以下であることが好ましい。
このうち、ポリフェニレンサルファイド(PPS)樹脂、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)樹脂などは、射出成形性、摺動性、耐久性等の点から好ましいものである。
さらに、ベータユークリプタイト(LiAlSiO4)やビスマス鉄ニッケル酸化物(BiNi1-XFexO3)なども負の熱膨張率を示す化合物として周知であり、使用可能なものである。

Claims (7)
- 鋼材製の外輪および内輪と、前記外輪および前記内輪の間に配置される複数のころと、前記ころを収容するポケットを有し、前記外輪および前記内輪の間で周方向に順次連ねて環状に配置される複数の保持器セグメントとを備え、所定温度範囲の軸受温度で使用されるころ軸受であって、
前記保持器セグメントは熱膨張性フィラーを含んで線膨張係数1.0×10-5/℃未満の樹脂製であり、
複数の前記保持器セグメントが周方向に無間隙に配置された環状の保持器の最初に配置された保持器セグメントと最後に配置された保持器セグメントとの間に軸受温度が前記所定温度範囲の下限値ですき間(R)を有し、
軸受温度が前記所定温度範囲の上限値での前記すき間(R)の周方向寸法が、前記保持器セグメントの前記環状の径方向厚さの中央を通る円の円周の0.12%未満であり、かつ前記所定温度範囲の下限値でのすき間(R)の周方向寸法が、前記保持器セグメントの前記環状の径方向厚さの中央を通る円の円周の0を超え0.075%以下であるころ軸受。 - 前記所定温度範囲が、-40~150℃である請求項1に記載のころ軸受。
- 前記熱膨張性フィラーは、外輪および内輪を構成する鋼材の線膨張係数未満の線膨張係数の熱膨張性フィラーである請求項1または2に記載のころ軸受。
- 前記熱膨張性フィラーは、少なくとも炭素繊維またはガラス繊維のいずれかを含むものである請求項1~3のいずれかに記載のころ軸受。
- 前記熱膨張性フィラーの充填比率が、20重量%以上40重量%以下である請求項4に記載のころ軸受。
- 前記ころ軸受が、風力発電機の主軸支持用ころ軸受である請求項1~5のいずれかに記載のころ軸受。
- 請求項1~6のいずれかに記載のころ軸受に用いられ、周方向に順次連ねて環状に配置して用いられる複数の保持器セグメントからなるころ軸受用保持器。
