Description
Claims (7)
- フィルタを溶融金属用フィルタボックスに取付けたりそれから取出したりする工具であって、
シャンクと、
前記シャンクの第1の端部に固着されたヘッド端部と、
前記シャンクの第2の端部に配置された孔と、
前記孔に挿入され且つ前記孔から取外し可能である形状を有するハンドルと、を備え、
前記シャンクの第2の端部は、前記ハンドルを前記孔から取外すときに、多孔質セラミック材料からなるフィルタ媒体を貫くように挿入されているように構成される工具。 - 前記ヘッド端部は、前記シャンクに恒久的に固着される、請求項1に記載の工具。
- フィルタをフィルタボックスに取付けたりそれから取出したりする方法であって、
(a)工具を準備することを含み、前記工具は、シャンクと、前記シャンクの第1の端部に固着されたヘッド端部と、前記シャンクの第2の端部に配置された孔と、前記孔に挿入され且つ前記孔から取外し可能であるハンドルと、を備え、
(b)更に、前記ハンドルを前記工具のシャンクから取外すことと、
(c)前記工具のシャンクを、多孔質セラミック材料からなるフィルタ媒体に形成された孔を貫くように挿入することと、
(d)前記ハンドルを前記工具のシャンクに再び取付けることと、
(e)前記工具を用いて、前記フィルタ媒体をフィルタボックス内の所望の位置に位置決めすることと、を含む方法。 - 更に、前記フィルタ媒体を、300~660℃の温度の前記フィルタボックスから取出すことを含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記(e)の後、前記工具のシャンクは、前記工具のヘッド端部が前記フィルタボックスの床に係合するまで、前記フィルタ媒体の孔の中を摺動する、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 更に、前記ハンドルを前記工具から取外し、使用済みのフィルタ媒体を前記工具から取出し、前記シャンクを新しいフィルタ媒体の孔に挿入し、前記ハンドルを前記工具に再び取付けること含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 溶融金属用フィルタボックスであって、
溶融金属用の流路に設けられたフィルタハウジングと、
前記フィルタハウジング内に配置され、且つ、少なくとも1つのフィルタ受入れ通路を有する水平方向仕切りと、
前記フィルタ受入れ通路内に且つ溶融金属の流入流路の下方に位置決めされ且つ多孔質セラミック材料からなるフィルタ媒体と、を備え、前記フィルタ媒体は、孔を含み、
更に、前記孔内に配置され且つフィルタを取扱う請求項1に記載の工具を備え、前記工具は、シャンクによって相互連結されたハンドル及びヘッド部分を含み、前記ハンドル及び前記ヘッド部分の少なくとも一方は、前記シャンクから取外し可能であり、
前記フィルタ媒体は、前記工具を前記ハンドルによって把持して前記フィルタ媒体を取出すことによって取出される、溶融金属用フィルタボックス。
