Description
Claims (8)
- 液体金属から固体介在物を除去するためのフィルタエレメントをプライミングする方法であって、
前記フィルタエレメントは、ボックスまたは樋に収容され、少なくとも2つのインダクタが前記フィルタエレメントの対向する2つの側に対称に配置され、前記少なくとも2つのインダクタにはそれぞれ独立した電力が供給され、
前記方法は、
a)前記少なくとも2つのインダクタに調整可能なAC又はパルスDCの励磁電流を印加するステップと、
b)前記フィルタエレメントの上流側を覆うのに十分な液体金属を添加するステップと、
c)磁場を生成する前記インダクタによって前記液体金属内に誘導された電流によって、前記液体金属を撹拌するローレンツ力を生じさせ、前記液体金属をセラミックの前記フィルタエレメントに押し込んで、前記フィルタエレメントをプライミングするステップと、
d)所定のプライミング度が得られた後、前記励磁電流を停止するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記フィルタエレメントの対向する2つの側に配置された2つの別個の前記インダクタのみが用いられる、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 溶融金属は、フィルタエレメントを通って上方または下方に流れるように方向付けられる、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記少なくとも2つのインダクタは、前記フィルタエレメントの上面の上方または下面の下方のいずれかの面にコイルを形成する少なくとも2回の巻数のワイヤを含む、
請求項3に記載の方法。 - 前記フィルタエレメントは、導電性である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも2つのインダクタは、互いに補完するように位相調整される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- フィルタボックスの側は、インダクタを含まない金属入口樋及び金属出口樋を有する、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記インダクタは、プライミングに加えて、プライミング前に誘導加熱を実行するために用いられる、
請求項1に記載の方法。
