Description
コード長さ方向と直角な断面において、
前記複合コードの露出面のコード外周に沿った長さL0と、前記第2ストランドの露出面のコード外周に沿った長さL2との比L2/L0が0.30~0.40の範囲である。
図1に示されるように、本実施形態のタイヤ1は、乗用車用の空気入りタイヤとして形成されている。しかしこれに限定されるものではなく、タイヤ1は、例えば、自動二輪車用、重荷重車用等の空気入りタイヤとして形成されても良く、さらには、タイヤ内部に加圧空気が充填されない非空気入りタイヤ(例えばエアーレスタイヤ)等の様々なタイヤとして構成することができる。
撚り数N20は、21.0~29.0の範囲が好ましく、さらには23.0~27.0の範囲がより好ましい。
撚り数N21は、20.0~28.0の範囲が好ましく、さらには22.0~26.0の範囲がより好ましい。
撚り数N22は、23.5~31.5の範囲が好ましく、さらには25.5~29.5の範囲がより好ましい。
撚り数N23は、24.0~32.0の範囲が好ましく、さらには26.0~30.0の範囲がより好ましい。
又撚り数に関しては、N21≦N20≦N22≦N23が好ましい。
撚り数N30は、21.0~29.0の範囲が好ましく、さらには23.0~27.0の範囲がより好ましい。
撚り数N31は、21.5~29.5の範囲が好ましく、さらには23.5~27.5の範囲がより好ましい。
撚り数N32は、24.0~32.0の範囲が好ましく、さらには26.0~30.0の範囲がより好ましい。
撚り数N33は、23.5~31.5の範囲が好ましく、さらには25.5~29.5の範囲がより好ましい。
撚り数N34は、23.5~31.5の範囲が好ましく、さらには25.5~29.5の範囲がより好ましい。
又撚り数に関しては、N30≦N31≦N33≦N32、及び N30≦N31≦N34≦N32 が好ましい。
JIS L1017(化学繊維タイヤコード試験方法)の8.5項に記載された「引張強さ及び伸び率」に準拠し、複合コードの破断時の荷重を測定した。数値が大なほどコード強力が高い。
複合コードを、トッピングゴムでゴム被覆するとともに、複合コードを引張試験機(INTESCO 2005型)で、引張速度50mm/minで引っ張り、複合コードがトッピングゴムから引き抜かれた時の抗力を測定した。結果は、比較例1の抗力を100とした指数で表す。数値の大きい方が接着力が強い。
タイヤを、リム(18×9.5J)、内圧(200kPa)の条件にて、車両(排気量2600ccのFR車)の全輪に装着した。この車両を、アスファルト路面のサーキットコースで走行させ、操縦安定性について、ドライバーによる官能評価を行った。結果は5点法にて示される。値が大きいほど好ましい。
ドラム試験機上を用い、タイヤを、リム(18×9.5J)、内圧(200kPa)、縦荷重(7.0kN)の条件にて、200km/hの速度でドラム上を走行させた。環境温度は30℃であった。定期的に走行が停止され、タイヤの損傷の有無が確認された。ベルト端剥離の発生によってタイヤの外面が50mm以上膨出しているとき、又はトレッドの剥離が生じているとき、走行が停止され、それまでの走行時間が記録された。結果は、比較例1の走行時間を100とした指数で表す。数値の大きい方が高速耐久性に優れている。

- アラミド繊維からなる2本の第1ストランドと、ナイロン繊維からなる1本の第2ストランドとから構成された複合コードであって、
コード長さ方向と直角な断面において、
前記複合コードの露出面のコード外周に沿った長さL0と、前記第2ストランドの露出面のコード外周に沿った長さL2との比L2/L0が0.30~0.40の範囲であり、
コード断面積S0と前記第2ストランドの断面積S2との比S2/S0が、0.3以下である複合コード。 - 2本の前記第1ストランドが撚り合わされた中間ストランドと、1本の前記第2ストランドとが撚り合わされた2+1の撚り構造を具える、
請求項1記載の複合コード。 - 1本の前記第1ストランドと1本の前記第2ストランドとが撚り合わされた中間ストランドと、1本の前記第1ストランドとが撚り合わされた2+1の撚り構造を具える、
請求項1記載の複合コード。 - 請求項1~3の何れかに記載の複合コードをタイヤコードとして用いたタイヤ。
