Description
比較例C1および実施例1~3のそれぞれにおいて、表2に記載のFC1およびF1~F3のフィルム形成組成物のそれぞれ15~25グラムを、ステンレス鋼延伸棒を用いてポリエチレンテレフタレート基材上に流延することによってフィルムを調製し、76μmの目標厚さを有する乾燥フィルムを形成した。延伸フィルムを直ちに強制空気オーブンに移し、65~95℃で10~15分間乾燥させて乾燥フィルムを形成した。次いで乾燥フィルムをオーブンから取り出し、数時間室温まで平衡化させた。フィルムが室温まで平衡化されたら、フィルムをポリエチレンテレフタレート基材から剥離して、厚さ60~90μmの自立フィルムを得た。
製造後ならびに周囲温度(68~72°F)および高相対湿度(68~70%)での貯蔵後の両方で、最初に市販の改質水酸化ポリビニルフィルムならびに比較例C1および実施例1~3からの自立フィルムを冷水溶解度について試験した。冷水溶解度試験は、各自立型フィルムから試験片(幅0.5インチ×長さ1.5インチ)を取り出し、これを20mLの水道水の入った別の容器に入れることによって行った。試験片を約2分間かき混ぜずに静置してから、容器を手で60秒間振盪した。次いで容器の内容物を25μmメッシュスクリーンを通して濾過した。濾過前の容器内容物およびメッシュスクリーン上の残渣の観察に基づく以下の評価尺度を使用して、本発明の自立型フィルムの全体的な冷水溶解度を特徴付けた。

水溶性容器を熱成形するのに有用であると考えられる水溶性フィルムの機械的特性には、100%伸び時の引張応力、ヤング率および破断応力が、熱成形を成功させるために、また必要量の液体洗剤を保持するフィルムの能力に重要である。Tinius Olsenから入手可能なTinius Olsen Model H10K-Sベンチトップ材料試験機およびフィルム試料(長さ3.0インチ×幅0.5インチ)を使用して、市販の改質水酸化ポリビニルフィルムならびに比較例C1および実施例1~3からの自立型フィルムの機械的特性を測定した。引張試験は、ASTM D882に従って、1.2インチのゲージ長さを試験速度20インチ/分で、温度および湿度が71°Fおよび相対湿度53%の制御された温度および湿度の室内で実施した。分析の結果は、表4に提供される。
炭酸ナトリウムおよびフィルム組成物(表5に記載)を水に溶解することによって試験溶液を調製し、500ppmの炭酸ナトリウムおよび100ppmの溶解フィルムを含有する100mLの溶液を得た。試験溶液を室温に保ち、Brinkmann Probe Colorimeter(PC950)を用いて濁度を連続的に測定した。透過率は時間=0で100%として記録され、0.1グラムの2:1のCa2+/Mg2+硬度溶液が試験溶液に毎分添加され、濁度が記録された。0.1グラム/分の2:1のCa2+/Mg2+硬度溶液の添加は、透過率測定値が40%を下回るまで、または20分後のいずれか早い方まで続けられた。結果を表5に提供する。
ケイ酸ナトリウムおよびフィルム組成物(表5に記載)を水に溶解することによって試験溶液を調製し、500ppmのケイ酸ナトリウムおよび100ppmの溶解フィルムを含有する100mLの溶液を得た。試験溶液を室温に保ち、Brinkmann Probe Colorimeter(PC950)を用いて濁度を連続的に測定した。透過率は時間=0で100%として記録され、0.1グラムの2:1のCa2+/Mg2+硬度溶液が試験溶液に毎分添加され、濁度が記録された。0.1グラム/分の2:1のCa2+/Mg2+硬度溶液の添加は、透過率測定値が40%を下回るまで、または20分後のいずれか早い方まで続けられた。結果を表5に提供する。
Claims (10)
- 19~85重量%の部分加水分解ポリ酢酸ビニルと;
5~70重量%の20,000~2,000,000ダルトンの重量平均分子量を有するポリ(エチレンオキシド)と;
1~35重量%のエチレンオキシドとプロピレンオキシドとのランダムコポリマーと;
0.5~25重量%の1,2-エタンジオール、1,3-プロパンジオール、1,2-プロパンジオール、1,2,3-プロパントリオール、1,4-ブタンジオール、1,5-ペンタンジオール、1,6-ヘキサンジオール、2,3-ブタンジオール、1,3-ブタンジオール、2-メチル-1,3-プロパンジオール、ジエチレングリコール、トリエチレングリコール及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される可塑剤と;
2~50重量%の分散剤ポリマーであって、アニオン性ビニルモノマーとカチオン性モノマーとのコポリマーを含む両性分散剤ポリマーである分散剤ポリマーと;
1~7.5重量%のポリ(イソブチレン-コ-無水マレイン酸)コポリマーであって、少なくとも部分的に中和されているポリ(イソブチレン-コ-無水マレイン酸)コポリマーと;
0~10重量%の任意選択の添加剤とを含む、自立型分散剤フィルム。 - 前記分散剤ポリマーが、アニオン性ビニルモノマーとカチオン性ビニルモノマーとのコポリマーを含む両性分散剤ポリマーであり;前記カチオン性ビニルモノマーは、少なくとも1個の第三級アミン窒素原子を含み、前記分散剤ポリマーは、第四級アミン官能基を含まない、請求項1に記載の自立型分散剤フィルム。
- 0.01~1.8重量%のポリビニルピロリドンをさらに含み;
前記部分加水分解ポリ酢酸ビニル対前記ポリビニルピロリドンの重量比は、>10:
1である、請求項2に記載の自立型分散剤フィルム。 - ナノクレイ、消泡剤、架橋剤およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの任意選択の添加剤を含む、請求項3に記載の自立型分散剤フィルム。
- 前記自立型分散剤フィルムが、
0.05~0.2重量%の前記ポリビニルピロリドンを含み;
前記少なくとも1つの任意選択の添加剤は、ナノクレイおよび消泡剤を含み;前記自立型分散剤フィルムは、
0.1~0.5重量%の前記ナノクレイと;
3~7重量%の前記消泡剤とを含む、請求項4に記載の自立型分散剤フィルム。 - 冷水可溶性である、請求項1に記載の自立型分散剤フィルム。
- キャビティを形成する、請求項1に記載の自立型分散剤フィルム。
- 前記キャビティが、前記自立型分散剤フィルムによってカプセル化されている、請求項7に記載の自立型分散剤フィルム。
- 請求項1に記載の自立型分散剤フィルムと;
洗剤配合物であって、
14~60重量%の界面活性剤と;
3~25重量%の塩と;
20~75重量%の水とを含む洗剤配合物とを含む、単位用量パッケージであって;
前記自立型分散剤フィルムは、キャビティを形成し;前記洗剤配合物は、前記キャビティ内に配置され;前記洗剤配合物は、前記自立型分散剤フィルムと接触している、単位用量パッケージ。 - 前記自立型分散剤フィルムが、前記キャビティをカプセル化する、請求項9に記載の単位用量パッケージ。
