Claims (22)

サンプル容器を保持するように構成されたホルダと、前記ホルダに結合されたアクチュエータとを有するサンプル調製モジュールであって、前記サンプル容器が前記ホルダによって保持されたときに、前記アクチュエータが、前記ホルダに前記サンプル容器を設定回数だけ繰り返し反転させるように構成されたサンプル調製モジュールと、
設定時間にわたって前記サンプル容器を保持するように構成されたステージングモジュールであって、前記サンプル容器が前記ホルダから解放されたときに前記サンプル容器を保持するラックを含み、前記設定時間が前記サンプル容器内の血液を凝固させるのに十分であるステージングモジュールと、
を有する、
サンプル調製装置。 - 前記サンプル容器を繰り返し反転するために前記アクチュエータを作動させるように構成されたコントローラをさらに備え、前記アクチュエータが繰り返し反転する回数は、少なくとも前記サンプル容器のタイプに基づく、請求項1に記載のサンプル調製装置。

- 前記遠心分離モジュールは、前記サンプル容器を保持する回転可能なラックと、前記回転可能なラックを回転させるモータとを含む、請求項14に記載のサンプル調製装置。
- 血液サンプルを調製するための方法であって、
サンプル容器をサンプル調製モジュールのホルダで保持するステップと、
前記サンプル容器を設定回数だけ繰り返し反転するように、前記サンプル容器を保持しながら前記ホルダを作動させるステップと、
前記サンプル容器を前記ホルダから解放するステップと、
設定時間の間、ステージングモジュール内で前記サンプル容器をステージングするステップであって、前記設定時間が、前記サンプル容器内の血液が凝固することを可能にするのに十分であるステップと、を含む、
方法。 - 請求項16記載の方法であって、
コントローラを介して、少なくとも前記ホルダによって保持されたサンプル容器のタイプに基づいて、アクチュエータに前記ホルダを作動させるステップ、
をさらに含む方法。 - 請求項17記載の方法であって、
走査モジュールで前記サンプル容器上の識別子を走査するステップであって、前記識別子は前記サンプル容器のタイプを示す情報を含むステップと、
前記サンプル容器が前記ホルダによって受け取られた時間を記録するステップと、
をさらに含む方法。 - 請求項18に記載の方法であって、
前記サンプル容器がステージングモジュールのラックによって保持される時間を監視するステップと、
設定時間が経過したときにサンプル容器をステージングモジュールのラックから解放するステップと、
をさらに含む方法。 - 請求項16から19のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
前記サンプル容器をステージングした後、サンプル容器を遠心分離モジュールに送るステップと、
前記サンプル容器内に保持されたサンプルを前記遠心分離モジュールで遠心分離するステップと、
をさらに含む方法。 - 請求項16から20のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
前記ホルダを作動させるステップが、前記サンプル容器を繰り返し反転させるために、前記サンプル容器を繰り返し攪拌するステップを含む方法。 - 請求項17から19のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、
添加剤を含むサンプル容器に血液を加えるステップをさらに含み、
前記アクチュエータを作動させるステップが、前記血液を前記添加剤と混合させることを特徴とする方法。
