Claims (2)
- 動作周波数による第1制御と、動作電力による第2制御とを行うプロセッサと、
バッテリの有無を検出し、アダプタからの第1電力と、前記バッテリからの第2電力とを用いて前記プロセッサを含む負荷向けの第3電力を生成出力する電源回路と、
前記バッテリの有無を前記電源回路と並行して検出する組み込みコントローラと、
を具備し、
前記電源回路は、前記バッテリの抜脱を検出した場合、前記プロセッサに対して前記第1制御の作動を指示し、前記組み込みコントローラからの指示に応じて、前記プロセッサに対して前記第1制御の作動停止を指示し、
前記組み込みコントローラは、前記バッテリの抜脱を検出した場合、前記プロセッサによって実行されるプログラムであるBIOS(Basic Input/Output System)に対して前記バッテリの抜脱を通知することによって前記プロセッサの前記第2制御を作動させるとともに、前記プロセッサの第2制御が設定された後、前記電源回路に対して前記プロセッサの前記第1制御の作動停止を指示する、
電源システム。 - 前記組み込みコントローラは、前記バッテリの残量がしきい値を下回ったことを検出した場合、前記BIOSに対して通知し、前記電源システムから電力供給を受けるUSBデバイスへの電力供給を遮断する請求項1に記載の電源システム。
