Description
大きすぎて自然には閉じられない、もしくはそうでなければ、創傷の部位への陰圧の適用では治癒しない、開放創または慢性創傷の治療は、当該技術分野ではよく知られている。現在当該技術分野で知られている陰圧創傷療法(NPWT)システムは、創傷の上に流体に対して不透過性または半透過性の被覆を置くことと、創傷を囲む患者の組織に対して被覆を封止する、様々な手段を使用することと、陰圧を被覆の真下に作り出し維持するような手法で、陰圧の源(真空ポンプなど)を被覆に接続することとを伴う。このような陰圧は、創傷部位における肉芽組織の形成を促進し、かつ人体の通常の炎症プロセスを補助しながら、同時に有害なサイトカインおよび/またはバクテリアを含む可能性がある過剰な流体を除去することにより、創傷の治癒を促進すると考えられている。しかしながら、治療の便益を完全に実現するには、NPWTのさらなる改良が必要とされる。
Claims (9)
- 創傷被覆材装置であって、
近位の創傷に面する面および遠位面を含む創傷接触層であって、前記近位の創傷に面する面が創傷と接触して位置付けられるように構成される創傷接触層と、
近位の創傷に面する面および遠位面を含むスペーサ層であって、前記創傷接触層の前記遠位面の上に位置付けられるスペーサ層と、
前記スペーサ層の前記遠位面上に位置付けられる吸収層と、
陰圧源および電子構成要素のうち少なくとも陰圧源を備える電子ユニットであって、
前記吸収層が前記電子ユニットを受けるように構成されるくぼみを含み、前記吸収層が前記電子ユニットと流体連通するように構成される、電子ユニットと、
前記創傷接触層、前記スペーサ層、前記吸収層、および前記電子ユニットを覆い、それらの上で封止を形成するように構成されるカバー層と、を備える創傷被覆材装置において、
前記創傷被覆材装置は、前記電子ユニットが配置される電子機器エリアと、創傷部位の上に配置される吸収エリアと、を含み、
前記吸収層は、第一の吸収層と、第二の吸収層と、を備え、
前記第一の吸収層は、前記電子機器エリアの寸法に合わせた寸法および形状とされ、
前記第二の吸収層は、前記電子機器エリアおよび前記吸収エリアの寸法に合わせた寸法および形状とされる、創傷被覆材装置。 - 前記電子構成要素が、電源、可撓性回路基板、センサ、スイッチ、および/または灯もしくはLEDインジケータのうちの一つまたは複数を備える、請求項1に記載の創傷被覆材装置。
- 陰圧源入口保護機構および陰圧源出口または排出口をさらに備える、請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の創傷被覆材装置。
- 前記陰圧源出口または排出口が、抗菌膜および/または逆止め弁を備える、請求項3に記載の創傷被覆材装置。
- 前記カバー層が、前記陰圧源出口または排出口の上に開口部を含む、請求項3に記載の創傷被覆材装置。
- 前記陰圧源入口保護機構は、流体が前記陰圧源に入るのを防止するように構成された疎水性材料を含む、請求項3に記載の創傷被覆材装置。
- 請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の創傷被覆材装置を使用または操作する方法。
- それぞれの前記くぼみは、前記陰圧源および/または前記電子構成要素のそれぞれが嵌合するような寸法および形状とされる吸収層開口部である、請求項1に記載の創傷被覆材装置。
- 前記カバー層は、前記電子ユニットの少なくとも一部の上に位置付けられるカバー層開口部と、前記カバー層開口部を覆う電子機器カバーと、を備え、前記電子機器カバーは、前記陰圧源および/または前記電子構成要素を起動または停止するスイッチへのアクセスを可能にするように構成されたスイッチカバーを備える、請求項1に記載の創傷被覆材装置。
