(S2)前記表面処理された基材上にリチウム金属保護用高分子をコーティングして保護層を形成する段階;
(S3)前記保護層上に形成された前記保護層上にリチウム金属を蒸着してリチウム金属層を形成する段階;及び
(S4)前記リチウム金属層を集電体に転写する段階;を含むリチウム電極の製造方法を提供する。
本発明は、電池のエネルギー密度を増加することができるリチウム電極の製造方法に係り、(S1)プラズマ及びコロナ工程によって基材の一面を表面処理する段階;(S2)前記表面処理された基材の上にリチウム金属保護用高分子をコーティングして保護層を形成する段階;(S3)前記保護層の上にリチウム金属を蒸着してリチウム金属層を形成する段階;及び(S4)前記リチウム金属層を集電体に転写する段階;を含む、リチウム電極の製造方法に関する。
(S1)段階では、プラズマ及びコロナ工程によって基材の一面を表面処理することができる。
(S2)段階では、表面処理された基材の上にリチウム金属保護用高分子をコーティングしてリチウム金属保護用保護層を形成することができる。
(S3)段階では、前記保護層上に形成された前記保護層の上にリチウム金属を蒸着してリチウム金属層を形成してもよい。
(S4)前記リチウム金属層を集電体に転写することができる。この時、転写は前記基材、保護層及びリチウム金属層が順に積層された構造体を巻取した後、ロールプレスのような装置を利用して集電体上に前記リチウム金属層を転写させることができる。
基材として両面に離型層が形成された異形PETフィルム(SKC Haas社製RX12G 50μm)を準備した。
実施例1と同様に行うが、1.0kWの電力でプラズマ及びコロナによって基材の表面を処理した。
実施例1と同様に行うが、0.3kWの電力でプラズマ及びコロナによって基材の表面を処理した。
実施例1と同様に行うが、0.5kWの電力でプラズマ及びコロナによって基材の表面を処理した。
実施例1と同様に行うが、1.5kWの電力でプラズマ及びコロナによって基材の表面を処理した。
実施例1及び比較例1、2でそれぞれ製造されたリチウム電極を肉眼で確認した。

Claims (8)
- (S1)プラズマ及びコロナ工程によって、基材の一面に形成された離型層を表面処理する段階;
(S2)前記表面処理された基材上にリチウム金属保護用高分子をコーティングして保護層を形成する段階;
(S3)前記保護層の上にリチウム金属を蒸着してリチウム金属層を形成する段階;及び
(S4)前記保護層上に形成された前記リチウム金属層を集電体に転写する段階;を含み、
前記プラズマ及びコロナ工程は、0.6kW以上、1.0kW以下の電力で行われる、リチウム電極の製造方法。 - 前記基材は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(polyethylene terephthalate、PET)、ポリイミド(polyimide、PI)、ポリメチルメタクリレート(poly(methylmethacrylate)、PMMA)、TAC(cellulose tri-acetate)、ポリプロピレン(Polypropylene)、ポリエチレン(Polyethylene)及びポリカーボネート(Polycarbonate)からなる群から選択される1種以上を含む、請求項1に記載のリチウム電極の製造方法。
- 前記基材は、両面に離型層が形成された、請求項1に記載のリチウム電極の製造方法。
- 前記蒸着は、真空蒸着法(evaporation deposition)、化学気相蒸着法(CVD、chemical vapor deposition)、及び物理蒸着法(physical vapor deposition)の中で選択される方法によって行われる、請求項1に記載のリチウム電極の製造方法。
- 前記リチウム金属層の厚さは、5μmないし50μmである、請求項1に記載のリチウム電極の製造方法。
- 前記保護層は、PVDF(Poly Vinylidene Fluoride)、PVDF-HFPコポリマー(Poly Vinylidene Fluoride- hexafluoroethylne copolymer)、シクロオレフィンポリマー(Cyclo olefin polymer)及びSBR-CMC(Styrene Butadiene Rubber - Carboxymethyl Cellulose)からなる群から選択される1種以上を含む、請求項1に記載のリチウム電極の製造方法。
- 前記集電体は、銅、アルミニウム、ニッケル、チタン、焼成炭素及びステンレススチールからなる群から選択される1種を含む、請求項1に記載のリチウム電極の製造方法。
- 前記リチウム電極は、集電体;前記集電体の上に形成されたリチウム金属層;及び前記リチウム金属層の上に形成された保護層;を含む、請求項1に記載のリチウム電極の製造方法。
