Description
UN + 1.5 CdCl2 = UC13 + 1.5 Cd + N2(Γ) (1)
UN + 0.5 CdCl2 = 0.5 UNC1 + 0.5Cd (2)
LiCl-KCl溶融物は、反応開始時のCdCl2と、その結果得られるUCl3(他のアクチニドと同様)の両方の溶剤として機能する。
UNCl + CdCl2 = UC13 + Cd + 0.5 N2(Γ) (3)
これにより、UNC1及び他の不溶性アクチニド化合物の形態の不純物を含まないUC13を含有する溶融物が得られる。
Claims (2)
- 塩化物溶融物中において使用済み窒化物核燃料を再処理する方法であって、
二塩化カドミウムを含み、アルカリ金属及び/又はアルカリ土類金属の塩化物の混合物の溶融物中で塩化することを含み、
前記塩化は、使用済み窒化物核燃料を再処理するための装置において、不活性ガス雰囲気を使用して行われ、
以下を特徴とする:
前記塩化は、塩化物溶融物(4)及びその中に浸漬された使用済み窒化物核燃料(5)を有する反応器が位置する加熱ゾーン(I)、並びに前記反応器の下に位置する低温ゾーン(II)を有する前記装置中で行われ、
前記塩化の過程において、前記反応器(3)を有する前記装置の前記ゾーン(I)は、700°Cより高い温度まで加熱され、
使用済み窒化物核燃料(5)は、完全に塩化されるまで溶融物(4)中に保持され、
前記装置の前記低温ゾーン(II)は、塩化中に形成される金属カドミウムの結晶化のために使用される
ことを特徴とする方法。 - アルカリ金属及び/又はアルカリ土類金属の塩化物として、リチウム、カリウム、ナトリウム、セシウム、カルシウム、マグネシウム、ストロンチウム、バリウムの塩化物を使用する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
