Description
化粧シート10について、図1~図3を参照して説明する。化粧シート10は、基材20と、凹凸模様30を含む。化粧シート10では、凹凸模様30は、基材20の表面に設けられる。実施形態では、化粧シート10と基材20は、長尺のシート材とする。凹凸模様30は、エンボス加工装置50によるエンボス加工方法の実施により、基材20の表面に賦形(形成)される。エンボス加工装置50とエンボス加工方法については、後述する。基材20の長手方向は、化粧シート10の長手方向となり、基材20の短手方向は、化粧シート10の短手方向となる。従って、実施形態では、化粧シート10及び基材20の長手方向を単に「長手方向」といい、化粧シート10及び基材20の短手方向を単に「短手方向」という(図1参照)。長手方向及び短手方向は、互いに直交する。
エンボス加工装置50について、図4及び図5を参照して説明する。エンボス加工装置50は、化粧シート10を製造する加工装置である。エンボス加工装置50は、供給装置95から繰り出された長尺の基材20を搬送し、基材20にエンボス加工を行う。基材20に対するエンボス加工は、連続的に行われる。その後、エンボス加工が施された基材20は、化粧シート10として、回収装置96に回収される。
エンボス加工方法について、図1及び図4を参照して説明する。エンボス加工方法は、エンボス加工装置50で実施される。エンボス加工方法は、供給工程と、エンボス工程と、回収工程を含む(図4参照)。エンボス加工方法により、図1上段に示す基材20から図1下段に示す化粧シート10が製造される。従って、エンボス加工方法は、化粧シート10の製造方法ともいえる。エンボス加工方法では、搬送方向に基材20を連続的に搬送しつつ、供給工程とエンボス工程と回収工程が順次実行される。
発明者は、実施形態のエンボス加工方法及びエンボス加工装置50のエンボス加工型60の有効性を確認するため、実験を行った。以下、今回の実験により得られた実験結果を説明する。その際、上記との対応を明らかにするため、上述した各構成と同一又は対応する各構成には、上記と同じ符号を付して説明する。但し、エンボス加工装置50については、「エンボス加工装置A,B,C」という。
実験では、エンボス加工装置Aにより製造されたサンプルAと、エンボス加工装置Bにより製造されたサンプルBと、エンボス加工装置Cにより製造されたサンプルCを、評価対象とした。サンプルA,B,Cは、何れも化粧シート10に対応する。凹凸模様30は、複数の第一凹部32と複数の凸部34が長手方向に交互に繰り返されている凹凸状の模様(ボーダー模様)とした(図1下段参照)。
[基材20]
第一シート22(材質,厚さT1):合成皮革(トリコット編地にポリウレタン樹脂層を積層),1mm
第二シート24(材質,厚さT2):軟質ポリウレタンフォームシート(株式会社イノアックコーポレーション 商品名:EL67),5mm
第三シート26(材質,目付):不織布(ポリエステル不織布),40g/m2
エンボス加工装置A,B,Cは、何れもエンボス加工装置50に対応するエンボス加工装置である。エンボス加工装置A,B,Cの相違は、エンボス加工型60である。エンボス加工装置A,B,Cでは、エンボス加工型60とエンボス受型80は、共にロール形状を有する(図4参照)。エンボス加工装置A,B,Cのエンボス加工型60の仕様、及びサンプルA,B,Cの製造時のエンボス加工方法の加工条件は、次の通りである。エンボス加工型60の仕様に関し、エンボス加工装置Aを基準としたとき、エンボス加工装置B,Cのエンボス加工型60がエンボス加工装置Aのエンボス加工型60と相違する点は、「第三型部76の仕様」である。従って、エンボス加工装置B,Cのエンボス加工型60については、「第一型部72の仕様」の記載を省略する。サンプルA,B,Cの製造時のエンボス加工方法の加工条件は、同一条件とした。エンボス加工型60では、幅方向は、シャフト62の軸心の方向に一致する。幅方向は、図4の紙面に垂直な方向であり、基材20の短手方向に一致する。

今回の実験では、第二凹部36の態様について、次の評価基準に従った官能評価を実施した。その結果、サンプルAでは、評価が「◎」であった。サンプルB,Cでは、評価が「○」であった。即ち、今回の実験では、サンプルA~Cの何れのサンプルについても、良好な結果が得られた。これにより、実施形態のエンボス加工方法及びエンボス加工型60の有効性が確認された。
[評価基準]
◎ :次の条件1~3を満足する
条件1:第二凹部36の角部Eが良好で且つシャープである
条件2:第二凹部36が厚み方向に沿った形状を有する
条件3:第二凹部36が貫通孔のように見え、第一凹部32の底面に複数の貫通孔が配置された模様が設けられているように視認できる
○ :上記の条件1を満足する
△ :上記の条件1~3の何れも満足せず、第二凹部36がやや不明瞭である
× :上記の条件1~3の何れも満足せず、第二凹部36が不明瞭である
<実施形態の効果>
実施形態によれば、次のような効果を得ることができる。
実施形態は、次のようにすることもできる。以下に示す変形例のうちの幾つかの構成は、適宜組み合わせて採用することもできる。以下では、上記とは異なる点を説明することとし、同様の点についての説明は、適宜省略する。

Claims (8)
- 基材と、
前記基材の表面に設けられる凹凸模様と、を含み、
前記凹凸模様は、
深さ方向が前記基材の厚み方向に一致する、有底の第一凹部と、
前記第一凹部と隣接し、高さ方向が前記厚み方向に一致する、凸部と、
前記第一凹部の底面で開口し、深さ方向が前記厚み方向に一致する、有底の複数の第二凹部と、を含み、
前記複数の第二凹部は、
前記厚み方向で前記第一凹部の底面の側となる前記第二凹部の開口端の前記厚み方向に直交する開口方向の最大寸法以上、前記第一凹部と前記凸部との境界から離間した、前記第一凹部の底面の第一領域に全て設けられ、
前記第一凹部と前記凸部との境界と、前記第一領域と、の間となる前記第一凹部の底面の部分に設けられない、化粧シート。 - 前記基材は、
前記基材の表面を形成する第一シートと、
クッション性を有し、前記第一シートと積層される第二シートと、を含み、
前記第二凹部は、前記第二凹部の底面が前記第一シートに含まれる状態で、前記第一シートに設けられる、請求項1に記載の化粧シート。 - 前記第二凹部は、前記第二凹部の開口端の前記開口方向の最大寸法が0.5mm以上2mm以下となる凹部である、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の化粧シート。
- 前記複数の第二凹部は、前記第一凹部の底面で前記複数の第二凹部が開口する開口領域を除く前記第一凹部の底面の第一面積と、前記開口領域の第二面積と、を合計した第三面積に対する前記第二面積の比率が5%以上35%以下となる状態で、前記第一領域に設けられる、請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載の化粧シート。
- 前記第二凹部は、前記第二凹部の壁面と前記第二凹部の底面とのなす角度が90°以上120°以下となる凹部である、請求項1から請求項4の何れか1項に記載の化粧シート。
- 前記第二凹部は、前記第二凹部の底面の前記開口方向の最大寸法が前記第二凹部の開口端の前記開口方向の最大寸法の30%以上80%以下となる凹部である、請求項1から請求項5の何れか1項に記載の化粧シート。
- 基材の表面に凹凸模様を形成するエンボス工程を含み、
前記エンボス工程は、
前記凹凸模様に含まれ、深さ方向が前記基材の厚み方向に一致する、有底の第一凹部を形成する第一凹部工程と、
前記凹凸模様に含まれ、前記第一凹部と隣接し、高さ方向が前記厚み方向に一致する、凸部を形成する凸部工程と、
前記凹凸模様に含まれ、前記第一凹部の底面で開口し、深さ方向が前記厚み方向に一致する、有底の複数の第二凹部を形成する第二凹部工程と、を含み、
前記第二凹部工程は、
前記複数の第二凹部を、前記厚み方向で前記第一凹部の底面の側となる前記第二凹部の開口端の前記厚み方向に直交する開口方向の最大寸法以上、前記第一凹部と前記凸部との境界から離間した、前記第一凹部の底面の第一領域に全て形成し、前記第一凹部と前記凸部との境界と、前記第一領域と、の間となる前記第一凹部の底面の部分に形成しない、工程で、
前記第一凹部工程と共に行われる、エンボス加工方法。 - 基材の表面に接し、前記基材の表面に形成される凹凸模様に対応する凹凸状の成形部を含み、
前記成形部は、
前記凹凸模様に含まれ、深さ方向が前記基材の厚み方向に一致する、有底の第一凹部に対応する凸状の第一型部と、
前記凹凸模様に含まれ、前記第一凹部と隣接し、高さ方向が前記厚み方向に一致する、凸部に対応する凹状の第二型部と、
前記凹凸模様に含まれ、前記第一凹部の底面で開口し、深さ方向が前記厚み方向に一致する、有底の複数の第二凹部に対応する凸状の複数の第三型部と、を含み、
前記複数の第三型部は、
前記第一型部の頂面の側となる前記第三型部の後端の前記第一型部の頂面に沿った方向の最大寸法以上、前記第一凹部と前記凸部との境界に対応する前記第一型部の頂面の外縁部分から離間した、前記第一型部の頂面の第二領域に全て設けられ、
