Description
a)ミクロフィブリル化セルロースを含む懸濁液を供給する工程であって、前記懸濁液のミクロフィブリル化セルロースの含量は、懸濁液の固形分の重量に基づいて少なくとも60重量%である、前記供給工程;
b)前記懸濁液にナノ粒子を添加して、前記ミクロフィブリル化セルロースと前記ナノ粒子との混合物を供給する工程であって、添加されるナノ粒子の量は、前記懸濁液の乾燥固体1トン当たり乾燥基準で少なくとも1.0kgである、前記添加工程;
c)ウェブを形成するために前記混合物を多孔質ワイヤに供給する工程;
d)中間の薄い基材又はフィルムを形成するために前記ウェブを脱水する工程。
真空ポンプ及び市販のSSBワイヤを備えたシートモールドを使用して、MFC懸濁液の脱水を促進するために使用できるいくつかの添加剤をスクリーニングした。
ベントナイト(Hydrocol SH)、シリカ(EKA NP)及びナノベントナイト(RXW)を、1wt%及び5wt%の用量レベルの流動化(マイクロフルイダイザー MH-110装置)添加剤として使用した。パルプ及び化学物質を、実験用の湿式崩壊装置に入れ、10000回転で運転した。崩壊後、パルプ/化学物質の混合物は、マイクロフルイダイザー装置を用いてMFCに処理した。
50%RH及び23℃の温度で20GSMフィルムについて、OTR(*)を測定した。
この試験の目的は、MFCウェブの脱水及び運転性、並びに得られる製品特性、特にバリア特性に及ぼすシリカ用量の効果を明らかにすることであった。保持システムは、4kg/tのウェットエンドデンプン(Raisamyl 50021)、1.5kg/tのAKD(Aquapel A221)、1kg/tのカチオン性多糖類、5kg/tのPAE(Kymene X-Cel 25)を含む。試験したシリカの用量は、0.9kg/t、2.0kg/t、5.0kg/t及び10kg/tであった。
Claims (7)
- 以下の工程を含む、フィルムの製造方法:
a)ミクロフィブリル化セルロースを含む懸濁液を供給する工程であって、前記懸濁液のミクロフィブリル化セルロースの含量は、懸濁液の固形分の重量に基づいて少なくとも60重量%である、前記供給工程;
b)カチオンポリマーを前記懸濁液に添加する工程であって、前記カチオンポリマーは、カチオン性デンプン、ポリアミノアミド-エピクロロヒドリン(PAE)、ポリアミドアミン(PAMAM)、ポリエチレンオキシド(PEO)、及びそれらのコポリマーからなる群から選択される、前記工程;
c)前記懸濁液にナノ粒子を添加して、前記ミクロフィブリル化セルロースと前記カチオンポリマーと前記ナノ粒子との混合物を供給する工程であって、前記ナノ粒子は、ナノシリカ又はナノベントナイトであり、添加されるナノ粒子の量は、前記懸濁液の乾燥固体1トン当たり乾燥基準で少なくとも1.0kg~50kgであり、カチオンポリマー対ナノ粒子の重量比が1:3~1:20の範囲である、前記工程;
d)ウェブを形成するために前記混合物を多孔質ワイヤに供給する工程;
e)中間の薄い基材又はフィルムを形成するために前記ウェブを脱水する工程。 - 前記ナノ粒子が、中性又はアルカリ性のpHでアニオン性である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 添加した前記ナノ粒子が、1~100nmの個々の直径を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記カチオンポリマー対ナノ粒子の重量比が、1:5~1:12の範囲である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記カチオンポリマーが、ポリアミノアミド-エピクロロヒドリン(PAE)又はそのコポリマーから選択される、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の方法により得られるフィルム。
- 請求項6に記載のフィルムを含む製品。
