Description
<表示装置の構成>
図1は、本発明の実施の形態1による表示装置1の構成の一例を示す分解斜視図である。なお、以下では、表示装置1は液晶表示装置であるものとして説明する。
図2は、バックライト3の構成の一例を示す分解斜視図である。
実施の形態1では、リアフレーム10にリアフレームポケット18を設け、モールドフレーム9にモールドフレーム突起部22を設ける構成について説明した。
本実施の形態3では、図14に示すように、リアフレーム10は傾斜面を有しないリアフレーム突起部32を有し、モールドフレーム9は傾斜面を有しないモールドフレームポケット33を有していることを特徴としている。その他の構成は、実施の形態1と同様であるため、ここでは詳細な説明を省略する。
Claims (12)
- 面光源を構成する光学部材を前記面光源の光出射面の前面側および背面側から保持する第1フレームおよび第2フレームを備え、
前記光出射面に垂直な方向を前後方向、平行な方向を内外方向とし、
前記第1フレームは、前記面光源の額縁を構成する部分を含み、かつ当該部分に選択的に複数設けられた、前記第2フレームに前記前後方向で対向する第1係止部を有し、
前記第2フレームは、前記面光源の額縁を構成する部分を含み、かつ当該部分に選択的に複数設けられた、前記第1フレームに前記前後方向で対向する第2係止部を有し、
前記第1フレームの前記第1係止部と前記第2フレームの前記第2係止部とは互いに係止し、前記内外方向の動きを規制し、
前記第1フレームおよび前記第2フレームは、平面視時に矩形以外の異形形状であり、
前記第1フレームおよび前記第2フレームにおける平面視時に形状が変化する変化点に前記第1係止部および前記第2係止部が設けられていることを特徴とする、バックライト。 - 前記第1係止部は前記前後方向に延在する突起部であり、前記第2係止部は前記前後方向に延在するポケットであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバックライト。
- 前記突起部は、前記内外方向のうちの外方向の面であって予め定められた角度で傾斜している第1傾斜面を有することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のバックライト。
- 前記ポケットは、前記第1傾斜面に対向する第2傾斜面を有することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のバックライト。
- 前記ポケットの前記内外方向の幅は、前記前後方向に延在する前記第2フレームの前記内外方向の厚みの半分以下であることを特徴とする、請求項2から4のいずれか1項に記載のバックライト。
- 前記突起部の前記内外方向のうちの内方向の面は、前記前後方向に延在する前記第2フレームの内壁よりも前記内外方向のうちの外方向に位置することを特徴とする、請求項2から5のいずれか1項に記載のバックライト。
- 前記第1係止部は前記前後方向に延在するポケットであり、前記第2係止部は前記前後方向に延在する突起部であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバックライト。
- 前記突起部は、前記内外方向のうちの内方向の面が予め定められた角度で傾斜していることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のバックライト。
- 前記突起部は、前記前後方向に延在していることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のバックライト。
- 請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載のバックライトと、
前記バックライト上に配置された表示面を有する表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルの前記表示面上に配置され、前記面光源の額縁に接合された保護部材と、
を備える、表示装置。 - 前記バックライトおよび前記表示パネルの前記表示面は、湾曲していることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の表示装置。
- 前記バックライトおよび前記表示パネルの前記表示面は、平面視において矩形以外の形状であることを特徴とする、請求項10または11に記載の表示装置。
