Claims (7)
- 両側に配置された空気極と、前記空気極の内側に配置された金属極と、を有する金属空気電池セルが複数個、空間を介して並設されており、
前記空間に、各金属空気電池セルの対向する前記空気極同士が、互いに接触するのを防止する接触防止部材が設けられており、
前記接触防止部材は、前記空気極の外側に当接しており、前記空間にて、前記空気極が互いに接近する方向に押し広げられる変形を許容するとともに、隣り合う前記接触防止部材同士の接触により、前記空気極の変形量を規制することを特徴とする金属空気電池ユニット。 - 前記接触防止部材は、前記空気極を前記金属空気電池セルに固定する固定枠と一体的に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属空気電池ユニット。
- 前記接触防止部材は、前記空気極の外側に当接して設けられており、前記接触防止部材が当接していない前記空気極の暴露面積は、70%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の金属空気電池ユニット。
- 前記接触防止部材は、絶縁材で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の金属空気電池ユニット。
- 前記金属空気電池セルにて、前記金属極は、前記空気極と同数設置されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の金属空気電池ユニット。
- 各金属空気電池セルには、電解液を給水する給水孔が設けられており、各金属空気電池セルの上面側には、複数の前記給水孔に給水可能な共通の給水スペースが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載の金属空気電池ユニット。
- 前記給水スペースに隣接し、電池出力を制御する電気系統スペースが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の金属空気電池ユニット。
