Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態の病原体および害虫の駆除装置を示している。
図1に示すように、病原体および害虫の駆除装置10は、反応容器11と一方の電極12と他方の電極13と水供給部14とガス供給部15と電源部16とを有している。
病原体および害虫の駆除装置10は、水供給部14から水を反応容器11に導入し、ガス供給部15からプラズマとなるガスを反応容器11に供給し、電源部16により一方の電極12の挿入部12aと他方の電極13との間に電圧を印加することにより、反応容器11の内部でガスが放電すると共に、水が蒸発するため、効率良くOHラジカルを発生することができる。このとき、挿入部12aがコイル状を成し、他方の電極13との間で、水供給部14から供給された水の流速を抑制可能であるため、挿入部12aと他方の電極13との間に水が滞在する時間を延ばすことができ、水が蒸発しやすい。このため、水供給部14からの水の供給量を増やして水の蒸発量を増やすことができ、単位時間当たりで多くのOHラジカルを発生させることができる。また、水と挿入部12aとの接触面積が大きいため、OHラジカルの発生量をさらに増やすことができる。そのOHラジカルを、反応容器11の下端の開口から対象物に照射することにより、病原体や害虫を駆除することができる。
一方の電極12が、水の流速ベクトルに沿って細長い金属線が反応容器内に同一のベクトル方向に線状のまま挿入されて成る構造(挿入部12aが流速を抑制する構成を成していない構造、および、反応容器内に流速抑制部を有しない構造)とし、水の流速を乱さない配置とした以外は、実施例1と同様なプロセスで病原体および害虫の駆除装置を製作した。即ち、一方の電極12は、水の流速ベクトルに沿って細長い金属線が反応容器内に同一のベクトル方向に線状のまま挿入されて成る構造とし、水の流速を乱さない配置とした。その結果、放電長Ldisは、80mmの駆除装置とした。

Claims (7)
- 反応容器と1対の電極と水供給部とガス供給部と電源部とを有し、
一方の電極は、前記反応容器に挿入される挿入部を有し、
他方の電極は、前記挿入部と対向する位置に配置され、
前記水供給部は、前記挿入部を介して水を前記反応容器に供給可能に設けられ、
前記ガス供給部は、プラズマとなるガスを前記反応容器に供給可能に設けられ、
前記電源部は、前記水と前記ガスとが供給された前記反応容器中にOHラジカルを発生させるよう、前記挿入部と前記他方の電極との間に電圧を印加可能に設けられ、
前記挿入部は、前記他方の電極との間に前記水が滞在する時間を延ばすよう、前記他方の電極との間で、前記水供給部から供給された前記水が前記挿入部に沿って流れるときの流速を抑制する形状を成していることを
特徴とする病原体および害虫の駆除装置。 - 前記挿入部は、コイル形状、波形状またはメッシュ状を成していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の病原体および害虫の駆除装置。
- 反応容器と1対の電極と水供給部と流速抑制部とガス供給部と電源部とを有し、
一方の電極は、前記反応容器に挿入される挿入部を有し、
他方の電極は、前記挿入部と対向する位置に配置され、
前記水供給部は、前記挿入部を介して水を前記反応容器に供給可能に設けられ、
前記流速抑制部は、前記挿入部と前記他方の電極との間に前記水が滞在する時間を延ばすよう、前記挿入部と前記他方の電極との間で、前記水供給部から供給された前記水が前記挿入部に沿って流れるときの流速を抑制可能に設けられ、
前記ガス供給部は、プラズマとなるガスを前記反応容器に供給可能に設けられ、
前記電源部は、前記水と前記ガスとが供給された前記反応容器中にOHラジカルを発生させるよう、前記挿入部と前記他方の電極との間に電圧を印加可能に設けられていることを

前記他方の電極は、前記反応容器の外側面に沿って設けられ、前記挿入部と対向する部分の長さが80mm乃至1000mmであることを
特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の病原体および害虫の駆除装置。 - 前記水供給部から供給される前記水の前記反応容器中での蒸発速度が、90μl/分以上になるよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の病原体および害虫の駆除装置。
- 病原体および害虫の駆除装置の反応容器であって、
水とプラズマとなるガスとをそれぞれ内部に供給するための開口部と、1対の電極とを有し、
一方の電極は、前記開口部から前記反応容器の内部に挿入される挿入部を有し、
他方の電極は、前記挿入部と対向する位置に配置され、
前記挿入部は、前記他方の電極との間に前記水が滞在する時間を延ばすよう、前記他方の電極との間で、前記開口部から供給された前記水が前記挿入部に沿って流れるときの流速を抑制する形状を成していることを
