Claims (9)
- 第1表示パネルと、
前記第1表示パネルと対向する第2表示パネルと、
前記第1表示パネルに駆動信号を出力する第1ドライバICが実装された第1フレキシブル基板と、
少なくとも一部が前記第1フレキシブル基板と重なり、かつ、前記第1フレキシブル基板と隙間をあけて配置されており、前記第2表示パネルに接続された第2フレキシブル基板と、
前記第1フレキシブル基板及び前記第2フレキシブル基板の間に配置されたクッション性を有する絶縁シートとを備え、
前記第1フレキシブル基板は、前記第1ドライバICが前記第2フレキシブル基板側に位置するように前記第1表示パネルに接続され、
前記絶縁シートは、前記第1ドライバICと前記第2フレキシブル基板との間に配置され、
前記第1フレキシブル基板及び前記第2フレキシブル基板の少なくとも一方には、回路基板が接続されており、
前記絶縁シートは、前記回路基板に片持ち状態で取り付けられ、前記第1ドライバICに接着されていない、
表示装置。 - 前記回路基板は、前記第2フレキシブル基板に接続されている、
請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第2フレキシブル基板には、第2ドライバICが実装されており、
前記絶縁シートは、前記第2ドライバICを覆っている、
請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1フレキシブル基板及び前記第2フレキシブル基板の積層方向において、前記第1ドライバICと前記第2ドライバICとは重なっていない、
請求項3に記載の表示装置。 - 前記絶縁シートは、前記第1表示パネルと重なっていない、
請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1フレキシブル基板及び前記第2フレキシブル基板は、前記第2フレキシブル基板が前記第1フレキシブル基板に対して内側となるように曲がっている、
請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第2フレキシブル基板の導体パターンは、前記第1フレキシブル基板側に位置する、
請求項6に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1表示パネル及び前記第2表示パネルの各々は、駆動回路層が設けられたTFT基板と、前記TFT基板に対向する対向基板とを有し、
前記第1表示パネル及び前記第2表示パネルは、互いの前記TFT基板が内側に位置するように配置され、
前記第1フレキシブル基板は、前記第1表示パネルにおける前記TFT基板の内面側に
接続され、
前記第2フレキシブル基板は、前記第2表示パネルにおける前記TFT基板の内面側に接続されている、
請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1表示パネルの表示面を覆う第1フレームと、
前記第1表示パネルを前記第1フレームの反対側から支持する第2フレームと、をさらに備え、
前記第1フレームの額縁部には、突出部が形成されており、
前記第1ドライバICは、前記突出部に接触している、
