Description
所定時間(tx)及び制限値(Ax)は、二次電池の温度が上限温度(Tmax)を超えないように、上限温度に従って設定される。
図1は、本実施の形態に従う電動車両の構成を概略的に示した図である。なお、以下では、電動車両がハイブリッド車両である場合について代表的に説明されるが、本実施の形態に従う電動車両は、ハイブリッド車両に限定されず、エンジンを搭載しない電気自動車であってもよい。
近年、HV走行/EV走行可能な電動車両において、HV走行/EV走行の高出力化が進んでおり、本実施の形態に従う電動車両1においても、組電池10及びMG41,42の高出力化によってHV走行/EV走行の高出力化が図られている。
Claims (5)
- 車両駆動力を発生する電動機と、
前記電動機へ電力を供給する二次電池と、
前記二次電池の温度を検出する温度センサと、
前記二次電池の出力を制御する制御装置とを備え、
前記制御装置は、
前記二次電池のケースと電極端子との隙間をシールするシール部材の熱破壊温度に基づき決定されるしきい温度を前記二次電池の温度が超えた場合に、第1の条件及び第2の条件が成立すると、前記二次電池の出力を抑制する出力制限制御を実行し、
前記二次電池の温度が前記しきい温度を超えた場合であっても、前記第1の条件及び前記第2の条件の少なくとも一方が不成立のときは、前記出力制限制御を実行せず、
前記第1の条件は、車両の継続的な加速の時間を示す加速時間が所定時間を超えると成立し、
前記第2の条件は、前記二次電池の温度上昇率が所定の制限値を超えると成立する、電動車両。 - 前記しきい温度は、前記二次電池の上限温度に基づいて、前記上限温度よりも低い温度に設定され、
前記上限温度は、前記熱破壊温度に基づいて、前記熱破壊温度よりも低い温度に設定される、請求項1に記載の電動車両。 - 前記所定時間及び前記制限値は、前記二次電池の温度が前記上限温度を超えないように、前記上限温度に従って設定される、請求項2に記載の電動車両。
- 前記制限値は、前記温度上昇率の上限値に基づいて、前記上限値よりも小さい値に設定され、
前記しきい温度は、前記上限温度を超えない範囲で変更可能であり、
前記上限値は、前記しきい温度が高いほど小さくなるように設定される、請求項2又は請求項3に記載の電動車両。 - 電動車両の制御方法であって、
前記電動車両は、
車両駆動力を発生する電動機と、
前記電動機へ電力を供給する二次電池と、
前記二次電池の温度を検出する温度センサとを備え、
前記制御方法は、
前記二次電池のケースと電極端子との隙間をシールするシール部材の熱破壊温度に基づき決定されるしきい温度を前記二次電池の温度が超えたか否かを判定するステップと、
前記電動車両の継続的な加速の時間を示す加速時間が所定時間を超えているか否かを判定するステップと、
前記二次電池の温度上昇率が所定の制限値を超えているか否かを判定するステップと、
前記二次電池の温度が前記しきい温度を超えた場合に、前記加速時間が前記所定時間を超えており、かつ、前記温度上昇率が前記制限値を超えているとき、前記二次電池の出力を抑制する出力制限制御を実行するステップとを含み、
前記二次電池の温度が前記しきい温度を超えた場合であっても、前記加速時間が前記所定時間以下であり、又は前記温度上昇率が前記制限値以下であるときは、前記出力制限制御は実行されない、電動車両の制御方法。
