Description
[1]主剤と硬化剤とを含むポリウレタン組成物であって、主剤は、芳香族骨格および脂環式骨格のいずれをも含まないポリアルキレン骨格を含み、および活性水素原子を有する官能基を2個以上持つ化合物(A−1)、芳香族骨格および/または脂環式骨格を含み、および活性水素原子を有する官能基を2個以上持つ化合物(A−2)、発泡剤(B)およびアミン系触媒(C)を含む、ポリウレタン組成物。
[2]主剤中の化合物(A−2)の含有量は、主剤の全質量を基準に3〜50質量%である、[1]に記載のポリウレタン組成物。
[3]化合物(A−1)中の活性水素原子は、ヒドロキシル基に由来する水素原子である、[1]または[2]に記載のポリウレタン組成物。
[4]化合物(A−2)中の活性水素原子は、芳香族骨格または脂環式骨格を有するジアミン化合物に由来する活性水素原子である、[1]〜[3]のいずれかに記載のポリウレタン組成物。
[5]化合物(A−2)は、エポキシ基に由来する構造単位をさらに含む、[4]に記載のポリウレタン組成物。
[6]化合物(A−2)は、芳香族骨格または脂環式骨格を有するジアミン化合物に由来する構造単位に対するエポキシ基に由来する構造単位の比率が、0〜0.8または4以上である、請求項4または5に記載のポリウレタン組成物。

各実施例及び比較例のポリウレタン組成物を、発泡後の容積が400〜800ccとなるように1リットルポリカップへ高圧発泡機により吐出した。生成されたポリウレタンフォームを硬化し、冷却した。その後、各ポリウレタンフォームについて水置換法により密度に換算した。得られた各ポリウレタンフォームに対する用いた各ポリウレタン組成物の体積の割合を発泡倍率とした。
各ポリウレタン組成物から得られるフォームの圧縮降伏強度について測定を行った。圧縮試験に用いた試料は次の通り作製した。各実施例及び比較例のポリウレタン組成物を高圧発泡機を用いて、縦方向に立てた33mmφのPP製のチューブへ高さが150mm程度となるように適量充填した。生成されたポリウレタンフォームを硬化し、冷却した。その後、各ポリウレタンフォームをPP製チューブから取り出し、下部から25mmを除き、25mmの長さに切断した。下から4個分を試験片として測定に用いた。
圧縮試験は、JIS K−7220に準じ、インストロン型引張圧縮試験機を用いて10mm/minの引っ張り速度で20度雰囲気下の条件にて行った。
大変形時の強度低下が抑制されているか以下の通り評価を行った。フォームについて圧縮試験を行った場合、まずフォーム中の空気層がつぶれ、最終的に空気層がなくなった後、強度が急速に増加し、材料そのものが崩壊し始める。このことから、本発明では、空気層が92%圧縮の段階で材料の側壁から崩れるか否かについて、圧縮試験により得られたチャートにおいて空気層が92%圧縮以下において圧縮強度曲線において段差が発生するか否かについて評価した。
段差は、強度低下前の強度から7%以上低下した場合、段差が発生したものと見なした。
また、空気層が92%圧縮とは、フォームの空気含有率(=ポリウレタン組成物の体積/発泡倍率)の92%とした。

表1に示す質量部数の各成分を混合することにより主剤を得た。得られた各主剤と硬化剤とを、主剤中の活性水素と硬化剤中のNCO基との当量比が1:1.1〜1.4(容積比で1:1)となるように混合することによりポリウレタンフォームを得た。各ポリウレタンフォームについて性能試験を行った。結果を表2に示す。

Claims (10)
- 主剤と硬化剤とを含むポリウレタン組成物であって、主剤は、芳香族骨格および脂環式骨格のいずれをも含まないポリアルキレン骨格を含み、および活性水素原子を有する官能基を2個以上持つ化合物(A−1)、芳香族骨格および/または脂環式骨格を含み、および芳香族骨格または脂環式骨格を有するジアミン化合物に由来する構造単位およびエポキシ基に由来する構造単位を含む化合物(A−2)、主剤の全質量を基準に0.1〜2質量%の発泡剤(B)およびアミン系触媒(C)を含み、前記化合物(A−2)において、芳香族骨格または脂環式骨格を有するジアミン化合物に由来する構造単位に対するエポキシ基に由来する構造単位の比率は5以上20以下である、ポリウレタン組成物。
- 主剤中の化合物(A−2)の含有量は、主剤の全質量を基準に3〜50質量%である、請求項1に記載のポリウレタン組成物。
- 化合物(A−1)中の活性水素原子は、ヒドロキシル基に由来する水素原子である、請求項1または2に記載のポリウレタン組成物。
- 発泡剤(B)は水である、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のポリウレタン組成物。
- 硬化剤は芳香族ポリイソシアネートを含有する、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のポリウレタン組成物。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のポリウレタン組成物の硬化物を含む、ポリウレタンフォーム。
- ポリウレタンフォームの密度は80〜400kg/m3である、請求項6に記載のポリウレタンフォーム。
- 車両を補強および防音するための方法であって、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のポリウレタン組成物を車体部材の閉断面内部に高圧発泡機によって注入し、車体部材の閉断面内部にポリウレタンフォームを形成する工程を含む、方法。
- 閉断面内部に請求項6または7に記載のポリウレタンフォームが配置された車体部材。
- 請求項9に記載の車体部材を有する車両。
