Description
好適な実施形態によれば、前記中隔挿入部は、電極の表面を除いた表面部分に親水性高分子コーティング層が形成される。
図3および図4は本発明に係る肥厚性心筋症手術用RF電極切除カテーテルの概略図である。
モノレールタイプとオーバー・ザ・ワイヤータイプの2つのタイプはいずれも、RF電極切除カテーテルに適用可能である。
図5は本発明に係るRF電極切除カテーテルを用いてガイドワイヤーを別の方向に再び誘導する過程を示す。
モノポーラモードRF電極切除カテーテルを用いる場合は、接地デバイスを人体の他の部位に位置させる場合と、心室中隔内に位置させる場合がある。
iii)別途のRF電極切除カテーテルも、接地の役割を果たすために、接地デバイスとして使用可能である。

Claims (10)
- 肥厚性心筋症手術用RFカテーテルにおいて、
柔らかい軟質材質のカテーテルボディをなすボディ部と、
前記ボディ部の遠位部に形成された中隔挿入部であって、1つ以上の電極と、端部に行くほど細くなると共に、ニードルとして機能して心室中隔を貫くように形成されたテーパードチップと、内部のガイドワイヤールーメンと、を有し、前記ガイドワイヤールーメンにガイドワイヤーが挿入され、肥厚性心筋症手術時に前記中隔挿入部が前記ガイドワイヤーに沿って心室中隔に挿入される、前記中隔挿入部とを含み、
前記テーパードチップは5〜20mmの長さを有し、尖部は1.2〜1.4Frの厚さ、尖部の反対側は3〜6Frの厚さを有することを特徴とする、肥厚性心筋症手術用RFカテーテル。 - 前記電極は、RFジェネレータに連結されてRFエネルギーを伝達する役割を果たすとともに、心筋の電気信号をセンシングし或いは電気刺激を加える役割を果たすことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の肥厚性心筋症手術用RFカテーテル。
- 前記テーパードチップの内部に形成されるチップルーメン(tip lumen)は、前記ガイドワイヤーと相互密着して離隔空間がないことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の肥厚性心筋症手術用RFカテーテル。
- 前記ガイドワイヤールーメンは、前記テーパードチップの端部であるチップホールからカテーテルの中間部に形成されたサイドホールまで形成されるか、或いはチップホールからカテーテルの近位部までカテーテル全体にわたって形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の肥厚性心筋症手術用RFカテーテル。
- 前記テーパードチップの内部に形成されるチップルーメンは、前記ボディ部に形成されるボディルーメンよりも狭い内径を持つことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の肥厚性心筋症手術用RFカテーテル。
- 前記中隔挿入部は、螺旋状タイプのコイルワイヤーまたはブレードタイプのワイヤーが内部に形成され、前記ワイヤーは前記電極とは絶縁されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の肥厚性心筋症手術用RFカテーテル。
- 前記中隔挿入部は、電極の表面を除いた表面部分に親水性高分子コーティング層が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の肥厚性心筋症手術用RFカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテルの内部には、クーラントを注入することができるクーリングチャンネルが近位部から前記中隔挿入部まで形成され、前記クーリングチャンネルの端部は前記ガイドワイヤールーメンと連通することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の肥厚性心筋症手術用RFカテーテル。
- 前記ガイドワイヤールーメンの内部には、クーラントを注入することができるクーリングチューブが近位部から前記中隔挿入部まで挿入され、
前記クーリングチューブは、端部が開放されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の肥厚性心筋症手術用RFカテーテル。 - 前記ボディ部は、前記中隔挿入部よりも厚い厚さを有し、
前記ボディ部と前記中隔挿入部との間には、テーパーされた連結部が形成され、
前記ボディ部は、近位部から前記テーパーされた連結部まで接地デバイスを挿入することができる接地デバイス用ルーメンが形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の肥厚性心筋症手術用RFカテーテル。
