上記第1の層、上記第2の層及び上記第3の層はそれぞれ、必要に応じて、接着力調整剤、遮熱粒子等の遮熱性化合物、難燃剤、帯電防止剤、顔料、染料、耐湿剤、蛍光増白剤及び赤外線吸収剤等の添加剤を含んでいてもよい。これらの添加剤は、1種のみが用いられてもよく、2種以上が併用されてもよい。
図9は、図1に示す合わせガラス用中間膜を用いた合わせガラスの一例を示す断面図である。
PVB1(n−ブチルアルデヒドによりアセタール化されているポリビニルブチラール樹脂、平均重合度1700、水酸基の含有率30.8モル%、アセチル化度0.7モル%、ブチラール化度68.5モル%)
3GO(トリエチレングリコールジ−2−エチルヘキサノエート)
Tinuvin326(2−(2’−ヒドロキシ−3’−t−ブチル−5−メチルフェニル)−5−クロロベンゾトリアゾール、BASF社製「Tinuvin326」)
BHT(2,6−ジ−t−ブチル−p−クレゾール)
第1の層を形成するための組成物1の作製:
ポリビニルブチラール樹脂(PVB1)100重量部に対して、トリエチレングリコールジ−2−エチルヘキサノエート(3GO)40重量部と、酸化タングステン粒子(CW)を得られる第1の層中で0.18重量%となる量と、Tinuvin326を得られる第1の層中で0.6重量%と、BHTを得られる第1の層中で0.3重量%とを添加し、ミキシングロールで充分に混練し、中間膜を形成するための組成物1を得た。
ポリビニルブチラール樹脂(PVB1)100重量部に対して、トリエチレングリコールジ−2−エチルヘキサノエート(3GO)40重量部と、Tinuvin326を得られる第1の層中で0.6重量%と、BHTを得られる第1の層中で0.3重量%とを添加し、ミキシングロールで充分に混練し、第2の層を形成するための組成物2を得た。
得られた組成物1及び組成物2を、それぞれ押出機を用いて押出して得られた第1の層及び第2の層を積層し、熱プレスすることにより、厚み方向の断面形状が矩形である第1の層と、厚み方向の断面形状が楔状である第2の層とが積層された中間膜を作製した。
得られた中間膜を、縦方向及び横方向における中央部分を取り出すように、縦1000mm×横300mmの大きさに切断した。次に、透明なフロートガラス(縦1000mm×横300mm×厚さ2.5mm)2枚の間に、中間膜を挟み込み、積層体を得た。この積層体をゴムバック内に入れ、2.6kPaの真空度で20分間脱気した後、脱気したままオーブン内に移し、更に90℃で30分間保持して真空プレスし、積層体を予備圧着した。オートクレーブ中で135℃及び圧力1.2MPaの条件で、予備圧着された積層体を20分間圧着し、合わせガラスを得た。
中間膜の形状を下記の表1に示すように設定したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、合わせガラスを得た。
(1)二重像
合わせガラスをフロントガラスの位置に設置した。合わせガラスの下方に設置した表示ユニットから表示情報を合わせガラスに反射させ、所定の位置で二重像の有無を目視で確認した。中間膜の一端と他端との間の距離をXとしたときに、中間膜の一端から0.15Xの距離の第1の位置をHUD表示エリアの下端とし、中間膜の一端から0.85Xの距離の第2の位置をHUDの表示エリアの上端とした。下端の第1の位置と、上端の第2の位置とで、二重像の有無を目視で確認した。二重像を下記の基準で判定した。
○:二重像が確認されない
△:二重像がわずかに確認される(実使用上問題がないレベル)
×:二重像が確認される

Claims (8)
- 中間膜は、熱可塑性樹脂と可塑剤とを含み、
中間膜は、一端と、一端よりも厚みが厚い他端とを有し、
中間膜は、以下の構成(1)及び(2)の双方を満足する:
構成(1):中間膜は、一端側から他端側にかけて厚みが増加している領域を有し、厚みが増加している領域の中に、一端側から他端側にかけて厚みの増加量が大きくなる部分を有し、
中間膜の前記一端と前記他端との間の距離をXとし、中間膜の前記一端と前記他端との間の距離を0.1X毎に10の距離範囲に区分けしたときに、距離範囲0.1Xの厚みが増加している第1の領域が、0.1X〜0.2Xの位置、0.2X〜0.3Xの位置、0.3X〜0.4Xの位置、0.4X〜0.5Xの位置、0.5X〜0.6Xの位置、0.6X〜0.7Xの位置、0.7X〜0.8Xの位置及び0.8X〜0.9Xの位置のそれぞれに存在する8つの場合の全てにおいて、中間膜は、以下の構成(1’)を満たし;
構成(2):中間膜は、厚み方向の断面形状が楔状である領域を有し、厚み方向の断面形状が楔状である領域の中に、一端側から他端側にかけて楔角が大きくなる部分を有し、
中間膜の前記一端と前記他端との間の距離をXとし、中間膜の前記一端と前記他端との間の距離を0.1X毎に10の距離範囲に区分けしたときに、距離範囲0.1Xの厚みが増加している第1の領域が、0.1X〜0.2Xの位置、0.2X〜0.3Xの位置、0.3X〜0.4Xの位置、0.4X〜0.5Xの位置、0.5X〜0.6Xの位置、0.6X〜0.7Xの位置、0.7X〜0.8Xの位置及び0.8X〜0.9Xの位置のそれぞれに存在する8つの場合の全てにおいて、中間膜は、以下の構成(2’)を満たす、合わせガラス用中間膜。
構成(1’):前記距離範囲0.1Xの厚みが増加している第1の領域の全体での厚みの増加量が、前記第1の領域に連なる一端側の距離範囲0.1Xの厚みが増加している第2の領域の全体での厚みの増加量よりも大きい部分を有し、距離範囲0.1Xの厚みが増加している第3の領域の全体での厚みの増加量が、前記第3の領域に連なる一端側の距離範囲0.1Xの厚みが増加している前記第1の領域の全体での厚みの増加量よりも大きい部分を有し、
一端側から他端側にかけて前記第2の領域と前記第1の領域と前記第3の領域とがこの順で連なっており、
前記第1の領域の全体での厚みの増加量の、前記第2の領域の全体での厚みの増加量に対する比と、前記第3の領域の全体での厚みの増加量の、前記第1の領域の全体での厚みの増加量に対する比との差の絶対値が0.2以下である
構成(2’):前記距離範囲0.1Xの厚みが増加している第1の領域の全体での楔角が、前記第1の領域に連なる一端側の距離範囲0.1Xの厚みが増加している第2の領域の全体での楔角よりも大きい部分を有し、距離範囲0.1Xの厚みが増加している第3の領域の全体での楔角が、前記第3の領域に連なる一端側の距離範囲0.1Xの厚みが増加している前記第1の領域の全体での楔角よりも大きい部分を有し、
一端側から他端側にかけて前記第2の領域と前記第1の領域と前記第3の領域とがこの順で連なっており、
前記第1の領域の全体での楔角の、前記第2の領域の全体での楔角に対する比と、前記第3の領域の全体での楔角の、前記第1の領域の全体での楔角に対する比との差の絶対値が0.2以下である - 前記構成(1’)において、前記第1の領域の全体での厚みの増加量の、前記第2の領域の全体での厚みの増加量に対する比が1.02以上、1.25以下である、請求項1に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記構成(2’)において、前記第1の領域の全体での楔角の、前記第2の領域の全体での楔角に対する比が、1.02以上、1.25以下である、請求項1に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂が、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 第1の層と、
前記第1の層の第1の表面側に配置された第2の層とを備える、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。 - 前記第1の層の前記第1の表面側とは反対の第2の表面側に配置された第3の層を備える、請求項5に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 平板状である第1,第2の合わせガラス部材の間、又は、曲率半径が15000mm以下である第1,第2の合わせガラス部材の間に、配置されて用いられる、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 第1の合わせガラス部材と、
第2の合わせガラス部材と、
請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜とを備え、
前記第1の合わせガラス部材と前記第2の合わせガラス部材との間に、前記合わせガラス用中間膜が配置されている、合わせガラス。
