Description
図1は、本発明の第1実施形態に係るガソリンエンジンE1の全体的な構成を示している。
EGR装置4を含むエンジンE1全体の動作は、エンジンコントローラ101により制御される。本実施形態において、エンジンコントローラ101は、電子制御ユニットとして構成され、中央演算装置(CPU)、ROMおよびRAM等の各種記憶装置、入出力インターフェース等を備える。
図2は、本実施形態に係るEGR制御(EGRバルブ開度の補正を含む)の基本的な流れを示すフローチャートである。

Claims (10)
- 排気微粒子をGPF装置により捕集し、
前記GPF装置上流の排気通路を流れる排気を、EGR通路を介して吸気通路に導入するEGR制御を実施し、
前記EGR制御において、前記EGR通路の開口面積を制御し、エンジンの運転状態に応じた前記EGR通路の開口面積を、前記GPF装置における微粒子堆積量が多いときほど小さくして、実際のEGR率またはEGR量を、前記エンジンの運転状態に応じた目標値に近付ける、
ガソリンエンジンの排気浄化方法。 - 請求項1に記載のガソリンエンジンの排気浄化方法であって、
前記EGR通路にEGRバルブを設置し、
前記EGR制御において、エンジンの運転状態に応じた前記EGRバルブの開度を、前記微粒子堆積量が多いときほど小さな値に補正して、前記EGR通路の開口面積を小さくする、
ガソリンエンジンの排気浄化方法。 - 請求項2に記載のガソリンエンジンの排気浄化方法であって、
前記EGR制御において、前記微粒子堆積量に対する前記EGRバルブの開度の補正量を、前記排気通路における排気流量に応じて異ならせる、
ガソリンエンジンの排気浄化方法。 - 請求項2または3に記載のガソリンエンジンの排気浄化方法であって、
前記吸気通路に、前記EGR通路の入口部と出口部との間に生じる差圧を、開度の減少により拡大可能にアドミッションバルブを設置し、
前記EGR制御において、
前記アドミッションバルブの開度を制御し、
前記EGR通路の開口面積に代えて前記アドミッションバルブの開度を前記微粒子堆積量に応じて補正可能とし、エンジンの運転状態に応じた前記アドミッションバルブの開度を、前記微粒子堆積量が多いときほど大きくする、
ガソリンエンジンの排気浄化方法。 - 請求項1に記載のガソリンエンジンの排気浄化方法であって、
前記EGR制御において、前記EGR通路の開口面積を、前記排気通路における排気流量が多い運転状態に前記エンジンがあるときほど減少させる、
ガソリンエンジンの排気浄化方法。 - 排気微粒子をGPF装置により捕集し、
前記GPF装置上流の排気通路を流れる排気を、EGR通路を介して吸気通路に導入するEGR制御を実施し、
前記EGR制御において、前記EGR通路の開口面積を制御し、前記EGR通路の開口面積を、前記排気通路における排気流量が多い運転状態にエンジンがあるときほど減少させる、
ガソリンエンジンの排気浄化方法。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のガソリンエンジンの排気浄化方法であって、
前記エンジンに、ターボチャージャを、排気タービンが排気の流れに関して前記GPF装置の上流側に位置するように配設し、
前記排気タービンと前記GPF装置との間の排気通路を流れる排気を、前記EGR通路を介して前記吸気通路に導入する、

前記排気微粒子は、排気中の煤分を含む、

EGRバルブを有し、前記GPF装置上流の排気通路から、前記EGRバルブの開度に応じた流量の排気を吸気通路に導入するEGR装置と、
前記EGRバルブの動作を制御するコントローラと、
を備え、
前記コントローラは、エンジンの運転状態に応じた前記EGRバルブの開度を、前記GPF装置における微粒子堆積量が多いときほど小さくして、実際のEGR率またはEGR量を、前記エンジンの運転状態に応じた目標値に近付ける、
