Description
図1A〜Cは、実施形態1に係る光ファイバ10を示す。実施形態1に係る光ファイバ10は、例えば、交差点の横断歩道等の注意喚起表示装置、駅ホームでの線路内転落防止表示装置、階段などの注意喚起照明、地震災害時の避難誘導表示システム、植物工場等で用いられる照明装置、光ファイバの側面発光を利用した空間光通信などに適用されるものである。
図5は、実施形態2に係る光ファイバ10を示す。なお、実施形態1と同一構成及び名称の部分は、実施形態1と同一符号を用いて示す。
図9A及びBは、実施形態3に係る光ファイバ10を示す。なお、実施形態1と同一構成及び名称の部分は、実施形態1と同一符号を用いて示す。
図12は、実施形態4に係る光ファイバ10を示す。なお、実施形態1と同一構成及び名称の部分は、実施形態1と同一符号を用いて示す。
上記実施形態1及び2では、クラッド112に第1及び第2クラッド部分112a,112bが設けられた構成とし、上記実施形態3及び4では、被覆層12に第1及び第2被覆層部分12a,12bが設けられた構成としたが、これらの組み合わせ、つまり、クラッド112に第1及び第2クラッド部分112a,112bが設けられ、且つ被覆層12に第1及び第2被覆層部分12a,12bが設けられた構成であってもよい。

Claims (2)
- コアと、前記コアを覆うように設けられたクラッドと、前記クラッドを覆うように設けられた被覆層とを有し且つ接合部を有さない光ファイバであって、
前記クラッドは、側面発光のための一の機能性因子を含む第1クラッド部分と、前記第1クラッド部分が含む前記一の機能性因子を含まない第2クラッド部分とを有し、
前記被覆層は、側面発光のための他の機能性因子を含む第1被覆層部分と、前記第1被覆層部分が含む前記他の機能性因子を含まない第2被覆層部分とを有し、
前記第1クラッド部分と前記第1被覆層部分とがずれるように設けられている光ファイバ。 - 請求項1に記載された光ファイバにおいて、
前記一の機能性因子及び前記他の機能性因子のうちの一方が光散乱因子であり且つ他方が発光因子又は蓄光因子である光ファイバ。
