Claims (7)
- 固体光源と、
前記固体光源から出射された励起光が第1端面から導入される光伝送ファイバと、
を備え、
前記光伝送ファイバは、
前記励起光を吸収して電子の反転分布状態を生成すると共に可視光領域の波長変換光を放出する波長変換材料を含む波長変換コアと、
前記波長変換コアの周囲を被覆し、前記波長変換光を前記第1端面側から第2端面側に伝送する導光コアと、
前記導光コアの周囲を被覆するクラッドと、
を有し、前記導光コアを伝搬する前記波長変換光により誘導放出が生じ、前記励起光および前記誘導放出により増幅された前記波長変換光が第2端面から出射するように構成された、光源装置。 - 前記波長変換コアは、前記波長変換材料をそれぞれ含む複数の粒子で構成されている、請求項1に記載の光源装置。
- 前記光伝送ファイバは、長さ方向に沿って設けられた複数の前記波長変換コアを有し、
前記波長変換コアのそれぞれは、互いに異なる前記波長変換材料を含む、請求項1に記載の光源装置。 - 前記波長変換材料は、励起寿命が1μs以上の材料を主成分とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の光源装置。
- 前記波長変換コアは、前記光伝送ファイバの前記第1端面側と前記第2端面側とで励起寿命が異なる前記波長変換材料を含み、
前記波長変換コアの前記第2端面側部分に含まれる前記波長変換材料は、前記第1端面側部分に含まれる前記波長変換材料よりも励起寿命が長い、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の光源装置。 - 前記クラッドは、フォトニック結晶構造を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の光源装置。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の光源装置を備える照明器具。
