Claims (20)
- 第1、第2、第3、及び第4の層を有する積層誘電体基板であって、前記第2の層が、前記第1の層と前記第3の層との間に介在し、前記第3の層が、前記第2の層と前記第4の層との間に介在する、積層誘電体基板と、
前記第1の層上の接地トレースと、
前記第2の層上の第1のパッチ素子及び前記接地トレースを含む第1のアンテナと、
前記第2の層上の第2のパッチ素子及び前記接地トレースを含む第2のアンテナであって、前記第1及び第2のアンテナが10GHzより高い第1の周波数帯域で放射するように構成された、第2のアンテナと、
前記第3の層上の第3のパッチ素子及び前記接地トレースを含む第3のアンテナであって、前記第3のアンテナは前記第1の周波数帯域よりも低い第3の周波数帯域で放射するように構成された、第3のアンテナと、
前記第4の層上の第4のパッチ素子及び前記接地トレースを含む第4のアンテナであって、前記第4のパッチ素子が前記第3のパッチ素子と少なくとも部分的に重なり合い、前記第4のアンテナは前記第1の周波数帯域よりも低い第4の周波数帯域で放射するように構成された、第4のアンテナと、
を備える、電子デバイス。 - 前記第2の層上の第5のパッチ素子及び前記接地トレースを含む第5のアンテナと、
前記第2の層上の第6のパッチ素子及び前記接地トレースを含む第6のアンテナと、を更に備え、
前記第5及び第6のパッチ素子が、前記第1の周波数帯域で放射するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記積層誘電体基板を通って延び、かつ前記第1、第2、第3、第4、第5、及び第6のパッチ素子を横方向に取り囲む、導電ビアのフェンスを更に備える、請求項2に記載の電子デバイス。
- 導電ビアの前記フェンス及び前記接地トレースが、空洞の縁部を画定し、前記第1のアンテナが、前記空洞の第1の角部に位置し、前記第2のアンテナが、前記空洞の第2の角部に位置し、前記第3のアンテナが、前記空洞の中心に位置し、前記第4のアンテナが、前記空洞の前記中心に位置する、請求項3に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第3及び第4のパッチ素子が、前記空洞の前記中心に位置する、請求項4に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1、第2、第5、及び第6のパッチ素子の縁部が、前記第3及び第4のパッチ素子の縁部に対して非平行な角度に回転された、請求項2に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1、第2、第3、及び第4のアンテナに結合された送受信機回路であって、前記送受信機回路は前記第1及び第2のアンテナを使用して高周波信号を伝達するように構成された、送受信機回路と、制御回路と、を更に備え、前記制御回路が、前記第1及び第2のアンテナによって伝達される前記高周波信号を使用して空間測距動作を実行するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記送受信機回路が、前記第5及び第6のアンテナを使用して、外部無線機器との双方向通信を実行するように構成されている、請求項7に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1、第2、第3、及び第4のパッチ素子を横方向に取り囲む導電性壁を更に備え、前記導電性壁及び前記接地トレースが、前記第1、第2、第3、及び第4のアンテナのための導電性空洞を画定する、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第4の周波数帯域が、前記第3の周波数帯域よりも高い、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1の周波数帯域が、57GHz〜71GHzの周波数を含み、前記第3の周波数帯域が、27.5GHz〜29.5GHzの周波数を含み、前記第4の周波数帯域が、37GHz〜41GHzの周波数を含む、請求項10に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記積層誘電体基板が、第5の層を含み、前記第4の層が、前記第3の層と前記第5の層との間に介在し、前記電子デバイスが、前記第4のパッチ素子に少なくとも部分的に重なり合う前記第5の層上の寄生アンテナ共振素子を更に備える、請求項10に記載の電子デバイス。
- 第1及び第2のアンテナ単位セルを含むアンテナ単位セルのアレイであって、前記アレイ内の各アンテナ単位セルが10GHzよりも高い第1の周波数帯域で放射するように構成された対応するアンテナを含む、アンテナ単位セルのアレイと、
前記第1のアンテナ単位セル内のアンテナの第1のセットと、
前記第2のアンテナ単位セル内のアンテナの第2のセットであって、アンテナの前記第1及び第2のセットは前記第1の周波数帯域よりも高い第2の周波数帯域で高周波信号を伝達するように構成された、アンテナの第2のセットと、
アンテナの前記第1及び第2のセットによって伝達される前記高周波信号を使用して空間測距動作を実行するように構成された制御回路と、
を備える、電子デバイス。 - 前記第1のアンテナ単位セルが、前記第1の周波数帯域で放射するように構成された第1のアンテナと、アンテナの前記第1のセットからの第2及び第3のアンテナと、を含み、前記第2のアンテナが、前記第1のアンテナ単位セルの第1の角部に位置し、前記第3のアンテナが、前記第1のアンテナ単位セルの第2の角部に位置する、請求項13に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1のアンテナが、アンテナ接地の上の第1の距離に位置する第1のパッチ素子を含み、前記第2のアンテナが、前記第1の距離よりも短い前記アンテナ接地の上の第2の距離に位置する第2のパッチ素子を含み、前記第3のアンテナが、前記アンテナ接地の上の前記第2の距離に位置する第3のパッチ素子を含む、請求項14に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第2及び第3のパッチ素子が、前記第1のパッチ素子の側面フットプリントの外側に位置する、請求項15に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記制御回路が、アンテナの前記第1のセットを使用して前記高周波信号を送信し、アンテナの前記第2のセットを使用して前記高周波信号の反射したバージョンを受信するように構成されている、請求項13に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1及び第2のアンテナ単位セルが、アンテナ単位セルの前記アレイの両端部に位置する、請求項17に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1のアンテナ単位セルが、前記アレイの第1の行及び第1の列内に配置され、前記第2のアンテナ単位セルが、前記アレイの第2の行及び第2の列内に配置され、前記アレイが、前記アレイの前記第2の行及び前記第1の列内に配置された第3のアンテナ単位セルと、前記アレイの前記第1の行及び前記第2の列内に配置された第4のアンテナ単位セルとを更に含む、請求項17に記載の電子デバイス。
- 第1の周波数帯域で高周波信号を伝達するように構成されたフェーズドアンテナアレイであって、前記フェーズドアンテナアレイは第1の空洞内の第1のアンテナ放射素子、及び第2の空洞内の第2のアンテナ放射素子を含む、フェーズドアンテナアレイと、
前記第1の空洞の対応する角部に位置し、かつ前記第1の周波数帯域とは異なる第2の周波数帯域で高周波信号を送信するように構成されたアンテナ放射素子を有するアンテナの第1のセットと、
前記第2の空洞の対応する角部に位置し、かつ前記第2の周波数帯域で高周波信号を受信するように構成されたアンテナ放射素子を有するアンテナの第2のセットと、
アンテナの前記第2のセットによって受信された前記第2の周波数帯域の前記高周波信号に基づいて空間測距動作を実行するように構成された制御回路と、
を備える、電子デバイス。
