前記第1と第2の基板の間にディスプレイユニットを積層する工程、前記第1の基板および前記第2の基板の一方または両方の内部にディスプレイユニットを一体成形する工程、またはユーザに対して前記積層体の背後にディスプレイユニットを配置する工程をさらに含む、実施形態38から41いずれか1つに記載の方法。
前記ディスプレイユニットが、マイクロLEDアレイ、OLEDアレイ、LCDアレイ、プラズマセルアレイ、およびエレクトロルミネセント(EL)セルアレイのいずれか1つ以上を含む画像パネルを備える、実施形態42に記載の方法。

Claims (5)
- 積層体において、
第1の基板、
前記第1の基板上に配置された中間層、および
前記中間層上に配置された第2の基板、
を備え、
前記積層体が、複雑に湾曲しており、光応答性材料およびディスプレイユニットを互いに独立した部材として含み、
前記中間層が高分子から作られ、前記第1の基板および前記第2の基板のいずれか一方または両方が強化されており、
前記光応答性材料が、エレクトロクロミック材料、フォトクロミック材料、懸濁粒子材料、マイクロブラインド材料および液晶材料のいずれか1つ以上を含む、積層体。 - 前記ディスプレイユニットが、
前記第1の基板および前記第2の基板の間に配置されている、
前記第1の基板および前記第2の基板の一方または両方と一体である、または
ユーザに対して前記積層体の背後に配置されている、
請求項1記載の積層体。 - 積層体を形成する方法において、
第1の基板および第2の基板を提供する工程;
前記第1と第2の基板の一方または両方を強化する工程;
前記第1と第2の基板を少なくとも1つの中間層および少なくとも1つの光応答性材料に積層して、該中間層と該光応答性材料が該第1と第2の基板の間に配置されるような積層体を形成する工程;および
前記積層体を複雑な湾曲形状に形成する工程;
を有してなり、
前記積層体が、光応答性材料およびディスプレイユニットを互いに独立した部材として含み、
前記第1と第2の基板の一方または両方を強化する工程が、該第1と第2の基板の両方を化学的に強化するまたは熱的に強化する工程を含み、
前記光応答性材料が、エレクトロクロミック材料、フォトクロミック材料、懸濁粒子材料、マイクロブラインド材料および液晶材料のいずれか1つ以上を含む、方法。 - 前記ディスプレイユニットが、前記第1と第2の基板の間に配置されている、請求項3記載の方法。
- 積層体を冷間成形する方法であって、
湾曲した第1の基板、実質的に平面の第2の基板、該第1と第2の基板の間の少なくとも1つの高分子中間層および少なくとも1つの光応答性材料を提供する工程;および
前記第1と第2の基板の軟化温度より低い温度で該第1の基板、該第2の基板、前記高分子中間層および前記光応答性材料を一緒に積層して、複雑に湾曲した積層体を提供する工程、
を有してなり、
前記積層体が、光応答性材料およびディスプレイユニットを互いに独立した部材として含み、
前記光応答性材料が、エレクトロクロミック材料、フォトクロミック材料、懸濁粒子材料、マイクロブラインド材料および液晶材料のいずれか1つ以上を含む、方法。
