Claims (4)
- カムの回転動作を吸排気バルブに伝達する機能を備えたローラー式ロッカーアームであって、
当該一対の側壁を含むボディと、
前記一対の側壁に両端部が固定され、かつ直径D1の回転しない金属製のローラー軸と、
前記一対の側壁の間に設けられ、かつ前記ローラー軸の外周面上に摺動可能に取付けられ、かつ直径D1よりも大きい内径D2の一様な内周面および外径D3の一様な外周面を有する内輪ローラーと、
前記一対の側壁の間に設けられ、かつ前記内輪ローラーの外周面上に摺動可能に取付けられ、かつ外径D3よりも大きい内径D4の一様な内周面および外径D5の一様な外周面を有し、かつ当該外周面にカムが当接し、かつ金属製の外輪ローラーとを有し、
前記内輪ローラーの内周面と前記ローラー軸の外周面との間にクリアランスが形成され、前記内輪ローラーの外周面と前記外輪ローラーの内周面との間にクリアランスが形成され、
前記内輪ローラーは、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン樹脂、ポリフェニレンサルファイド樹脂、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン樹脂、ポリエーテルサルフォン樹脂、ボリベンゾイミダゾール樹脂、ポリイミド樹脂またはポリアミドイミド樹脂のいずれかの樹脂材料によって成型されかつ金属材料を含まず、
前記内輪ローラーの内周面と前記ローラー軸の外周面との間に樹脂と金属とのすべり面が形成され、前記内輪ローラーの外周面と前記外輪ローラーの内周面との間に樹脂と金属とのすべり面が形成される、ローラー式ロッカーアーム。 - 前記樹脂材料は、炭素繊維、CNT(カーボンナノチューブ)、
CNC(カーボンナノコイル)、またはガラス繊維で強化した強化繊維を含む、請求項1に記載のローラー式ロッカーアーム。 - 前記強化繊維は、前記内輪ローラーの摺動方向に対して略平行に配置される、請求項2に記載のローラー式ロッカーアーム。
- 前記内輪ローラーの外周面および内周面と摺動する相手方の部材の少なくとも一方には、非晶質硬質炭素被膜が形成される、請求項1ないし3いずれか1つに記載のローラー式ロッカーアーム。
