Description
天然ゴムは、通常タイヤ用ゴム組成物に用いられるものであれば特に制限されるものではない。天然ゴムを含むことにより、雪上性能をより優れたものにすることができる。天然ゴムの含有量は、ジエン系ゴム100質量%中、20〜45質量%、好ましくは25〜40質量%である。天然ゴムが20質量%未満であると、雪上性能を十分に改良することができない。また45質量%を超えると、ウェット操縦安定性能を十分に改良することができない。
試験片のゴム硬度を、JIS K 6253に準拠しデュロメータのタイプAにより23℃で測定した。
得られた試験片の動的粘弾性を、岩本製作所社製粘弾性スペクトロメーターを用いて、伸長変形歪率10%±2%、周波数20Hz、温度−10℃で測定し、貯蔵弾性率E′(−10℃)を測定した。
上記で得られたタイヤ用ゴム組成物を標準リムに組み付け、空気圧250kPaを充填し、試験車両に装着した。試験車両を比較的凸凹の少ない乾燥路面上を走行させ、ハンドルをきったときの応答性を評点1〜5を付けて官能評価し、表1,2の「ドライ操縦安定性能」の欄に記載した。この指数が大きいほどドライ操縦安定性能が優れることを意味し、評点3が合格レベルとする。
上記で得られたタイヤ用ゴム組成物を標準リムに組み付け、空気圧250kPaを充填し、試験車両に装着した。試験車両を比較的凸凹の少ない湿潤路面上を走行させ、ハンドルをきったときの応答性を評点1〜5を付けて官能評価し、表1,2の「ウェット操縦安定性能」の欄に記載した。この指数が大きいほどウェット操縦安定性能が優れることを意味し、評点3が合格レベルとする。
上記で得られたタイヤ用ゴム組成物を標準リムに組み付け、空気圧250kPaを充填し、試験車両に装着した。試験車両を圧雪路面上を走行させ、ハンドルをきったときの応答性を評点1〜5を付けて官能評価し、表1,2の「雪上性能」の欄に記載した。この指数が大きいほど雪上グリップ性能が優れることを意味し、評点3が合格レベルとする。
上記で得られたタイヤ用ゴム組成物を標準リムに組み付け、空気圧210kPaを充填し、ドラム径1707mmで、JIS D4230に準拠する室内ドラム試験機にかけて、試験荷重4.82kN、速度80km/時の抵抗力を測定し、転がり抵抗とした。得られた結果は、標準例の値を100にする指数として表1,2の「転がり抵抗」の欄に記載した。この指数が小さいほど転がり抵抗が小さく、指数が98以下であれば低転がり抵抗性が優れることを意味する。

・カーボンブラック:THAI TOKAI CARBON社製N−134、窒素吸着比表面積が142m2/g
・シリカ:EVONIK社製ULTRASIL 7000GR、CTAB吸着比表面積が158m2/g
・カップリング剤:スルフィド系シランカップリング剤、Evonik Degussa社製Si69、ビス(トリエトキシシリルプロピル)テトラスルフィド
・アルキルシラン:信越化学工業社製KBE−3083、オクチルトリエトキシシラン
・アロマオイル:H&Rケミカル社製VIVATEC 500
・酸化亜鉛:正同化学工業社製酸化亜鉛3種
・ステアリン酸:日油社製ビーズステアリン酸
・老化防止剤−1:Solutia Europe社製SANTOFLEX 6PPD
・老化防止剤−2:NOCIL LIMITED社製PILNOX TDQ
・硫黄:鶴見化学工業社製金華印油入微粒硫黄(硫黄の含有量95.24質量%)
・加硫促進剤−1:大内新興化学工業社製ノクセラーCZ-G(CZ)
・加硫促進剤−2:住友化学社製ソクシノールD−G(DPG)
比較例2のタイヤ用ゴム組成物は、正味のSBRの含有量が45質量部を超えるので、雪上性能が劣る。
比較例3のタイヤ用ゴム組成物は、正味のSBRの含有量が20未満であるので、転がり抵抗が大きく、ウェット操縦安定性能が劣る。
比較例4のタイヤ用ゴム組成物は、ブタジエンゴムの含有量が45質量部を超えるので、ウェット操縦安定性能が劣る。また転がり抵抗を十分に小さくすることができない。
比較例5のタイヤ用ゴム組成物は、ブタジエンゴムの含有量が20未満であるので、雪上性能が劣る。
比較例6のタイヤ用ゴム組成物は、天然ゴムの含有量が45質量部を超えるので、ウェット操縦安定性能が劣り、転がり抵抗を十分に改良できない。
比較例7のタイヤ用ゴム組成物は、天然ゴムの含有量が20未満であるので、雪上性能が劣る。
比較例8のタイヤ用ゴム組成物は、ゴム硬度が68未満であるので、ドライ操縦安定性能が劣る。
比較例9のタイヤ用ゴム組成物は、無機フィラーが100質量部を超えるので、転がり抵抗が大きく、雪上性能が劣る。
比較例10のタイヤ用ゴム組成物は、無機フィラーが80質量部未満、ゴム硬度が68未満なので、ドライ操縦安定性能およびウェット操縦安定性能を十分に改良することができない。

Claims (4)
- 天然ゴム20〜45質量%、スチレンブタジエンゴム20〜45質量%およびブタジエンゴム20〜45質量%の合計100質量%からなるジエン系ゴム100質量部に、無機フィラーを80〜100質量部および炭素数7〜20のアルキル基を有するアルキルシランを0.5〜5質量部配合してなるゴム組成物であって、23℃のゴム硬度が68以上であるタイヤ用ゴム組成物で形成されたトレッド部を有する空気入りタイヤであって、
前記トレッド部にタイヤ周方向に延びる一対の内側主溝及び一対の外側主溝を含む4本の主溝が設けられ、これら主溝によりセンター陸部と該センター陸部の外側に位置する一対の中間陸部と該中間陸部の外側に位置する一対のショルダー陸部とが区画され、
前記センター陸部、前記中間陸部及び前記ショルダー陸部の各々にタイヤ周方向に間隔をおいて複数本のサイプが設けられ、前記センター陸部のサイプはその一方の端部に溝幅が広く形成された拡幅部を有し、前記ショルダー陸部のサイプは接地端のタイヤ幅方向外側から前記外側主溝の側に向かって延在し、前記センター陸部及び前記ショルダー陸部のサイプのタイヤ周方向に対する向きが前記中間陸部のサイプとは逆向きであることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記タイヤ用ゴム組成物が、−10℃の貯蔵弾性率E′が45MPa以下である、請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記タイヤ用ゴム組成物が、前記無機フィラーを95質量部以下配合することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記タイヤ用ゴム組成物が、前記無機フィラーがカーボンブラックおよびシリカを含み、カーボンブラックの配合量(Mc)に対するシリカの配合量(Ms)の質量比(Ms/Mc)が2.5〜19であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
