Description
図1は、本発明に係るV型エンジンのクランク軸潤滑用オイル通路構造における一実施形態が適用された船外機を示す左側面図である。この図1に示す船外機10は、エンジン11を搭載し且つプロペラ25(後述)を備える船外機本体10Aと、この船外機本体10Aの前部に設置されて、船外機本体10Aを船体20に取り外し可能に取り付ける取付装置としての取付ブラケット装置10Bと、を有して構成される。
(1)図3及び図5に示すように、エンジン(V型エンジン)11のVバンク角θが90度以内の狭角である場合には、シリンダブロック30における左バンク27、右バンク28間の領域の肉厚が薄くなって、この薄肉部分に、必要な通路径の連続した1本のメインオイル通路を形成することが困難になる。ところが、本実施形態によれば、メインオイル通路66は、軸方向の途中で分断された上流側分断通路部分66Aと下流側分断通路部分66Bとを、シリンダブロック30とは別部材のオイル通路連結部材68により連結して構成されている。
Claims (5)
- シリンダを備えた一対のバンクがクランク軸に対してV字型に配置され、前記各バンクの前記シリンダの挟み角であるVバンク角が狭角に設定されたV型エンジンであって、シリンダブロックまたはクランクケースに設けられた前記クランク軸の軸受部に潤滑オイルを供給するV型エンジンのクランク軸潤滑用オイル通路構造において、
前記シリンダブロックまたは前記クランクケースにおける一対の前記バンク間に設けられたメインオイル通路と、このメインオイル通路から前記クランク軸の前記軸受部へ向かって延び、この軸受部に潤滑オイルを導くサブオイル通路とを有し、
前記メインオイル通路は、軸方向の途中で分断された分断通路部分が、前記シリンダブロックまたは前記クランクケースとは別部材のオイル通路連結部材にて連結されて構成されたことを特徴とするV型エンジンのクランク軸潤滑用オイル通路構造。 - 前記V型エンジンのノッキングを検知するノックセンサは、シリンダブロックまたはクランクケースとオイル通路連結部材との間に介在された状態で、且つ前記シリンダブロックまたは前記クランクケースにおける一対のバンク間に設置されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のV型エンジンのクランク軸潤滑用オイル通路構造。
- 前記V型エンジンに排気浄化用の触媒が装備されたことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のV型エンジンのクランク軸潤滑用オイル通路構造。
- 前記V型エンジンが船外機に搭載されたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のV型エンジンのクランク軸潤滑用オイル通路構造。
- 前記サブオイル通路が、シリンダブロックまたはクランクケースとは別部材のパイプ部材を用いて構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のV型エンジンのクランク軸潤滑用オイル通路構造。
